As both an Airbnb guest and shareholder, I’m deeply disappointed.

We drove 5 hours to Oroville with 3 families and young children, only to find out at the front door that our reservation had been cancelled with no proper notice.

We were left scrambling for motel rooms for 11 people during a long weekend.

Airbnb eventually reimbursed most of the emergency motel cost, which I appreciate. But the experience still damaged trust.

As a shareholder, I care about Airbnb’s brand. Families should never be left stranded like this.
