Be Inspired and believe. Three years ago the thought of building a short break centre in Mayo seemed so far off, at times impossible. Thank you to everyone who made this happen. For your courage to believe in this vision, and your kindness to back it.
Thank you @lichamber and @DonnellyStephen for visiting the site of Daisy Lodge, Mayo
"I think this is Ireland at its best, the services that are going to be provided here for the kids and their mums and dads, brother and sisters some of whom we met here today.” Minister Donnelly
Great to welcome Minister @DonnellyStephen to the site for Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co Mayo, a therapeutic centre for children and their family impacted by cancer. I was pleased to work with Stephen to secure €7.5m in funding through the Dept Of Health and The Shared Island Fund. Thank you @CancerFundChild for your incredible work and for choosing Mayo. 💚❤️ @thecontel@radiomidwest@themayonews@WesternPeople
Great to host Imelda and Fiona from Charis Cancer Care today at Daisy 🌼 Lodge. Working with like minded charities, who are committed to

The Northern Ireland Cancer Charities Coalition is so important as we collectively seek to improve outcomes and services for cancer patients. Delighted to represent @CancerFundChild and the families we support in a meeting with Minister @RobinSwann_MLA
Health Minister Robin Swann met with representatives from the NI Cancer Charites Coalition today.
Challenges currently facing the sector were discussed and the group explored potential opportunities moving forward.
Great to meet @RobinSwann_MLA on behalf of @CancerFundChild to hear more about the review of AYA services in NI, and the outworking of the key recommendations. We are proud to work as part of this service, alongside our charity partners and all Health Trusts in NI. #ayacancer

I was inspired to choose a guiding word for the year by @lstrutt & I’ve settled on
‘Reframe’. It embodies the essence of transformation-shifting our mindset when faced with challenges, fears, or worries. It’s about finding fresh viewpoints, and perspectives. Have you a word? 🤔
What a year! Thank you for all support throughout 2023. As always we think of the families we support. 2023 for many hasn’t been an easy one. Thank you to each family for teaching us how to live life. We commit ourselves as a team to be the best we can in 2024.
