Water your plants with ... water. New findings from Ellie Brown, age 8.

[Matt Henkel @mphturf_79]

Matt's 13 year battle with brain cancer has come to an end. He died peacefully at home surrounded by family a short time ago. Please pray for healing for me, the kids, and our extended families.

[Mike Goatley @VAturf]

Congrats to @VTTurfgrass colleague Sam Doak on retirement from @VTCals after 20+ yrs of teaching as a Senior Instructor in the Ag Technology program. I like this vintage picture of Sam because although his 'stache & hair have a touch more gray now, the smile is always present!

[GOLF COURSE INDUSTRY @GCImagazine]

The @USGA has hired Jordan Booth as a @USGAGrnSection Southeast Region agronomist. Booth spent the past three years as a research associate with @VTTurfgrass. Booth joined the @VTTurfgrass team after a 10-year run as the superintendent at Willow Oaks (Virginia) Country Club.

@romon_copeland1 The occupant of the vehical was refusing to follow police directions for a safe resolution to the situation for the officers and the gentleman. Poor morals of the occupant.

[Paul Koch @plkoch2]

Happy Brewers Opening Day everyone! Always one of my favorite days of the year. Can’t be in Milwaukee in person again with the Covid, but providing my support from home. Congrats to @ryan_woodley and @ZakPeterson9 and their staff for getting the field in great shape

[Phil Bailey @PhilBailey7]

@EanDaniels This should be on a tee shirt!

[Phil Bailey @PhilBailey7]

@jaywadeIII @TheVTF Jay, alway enjoy visiting with you especially at this fantastic venue.

[Paul Koch @plkoch2]

Getting LOTS of reports of snow mold on untreated fairways and tees in the Milwaukee and Chicago areas. Treated areas appear mostly fine. These areas should fill in and recover on their own over time, not recommending any fungicide or seed at this time. Pics below from NW Chicago

[Milwaukee Admirals @mkeadmirals]

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Tony Scozzafave.
Tony has been a part of the Admirals family for 50 seasons. He was a member of the first team in 1970 & scored the first goal in Ads history.
May he rest in peace. 💙

@rossturfdaddy Be glad it's only one track, my old boss man said golfers are like cows. Wherever the first one goes the rest follow.

[Phil Bailey @PhilBailey7]

@540jimw Congratulations to both your children for their successes Jim!

[Fred Yelverton @FredYelverton]

If it seems 2021 has been colder than 2020, it is because it is, by quite a bit. At least in mid-south.
