@JoJoFromJerz Jo, I read your post about your picture on Substack, but I couldn’t reply there because I’m not a paid subscriber. You’re all you need to be and all you should be. You are a beloved child of God. I’m married to a different Jo from Jerez, and your post made me cry.
@steventx24@scottmerkin Actually they said it followed the letter of the rules as written but shouldn’t have been applied because the SS caught the ball. They didn’t say it was the wrong call.
@joefrl@RocknRef@NBCSWhiteSox No. It is a delayed dead ball. For those like you who don’t understand the rules of baseball that means the ump waits until play has concluded to call the ball dead. The offense can’t improve its situation.
@jaynemikulski@NBCSWhiteSox Jayne you’re like most White Sox fans. You don’t understand the rules. The ball is not dead on an infield fly rule. The batter is called out but the ball is live and runners can advance.
@NBCSWhiteSox In order to be an announcer for a major league team you should know the rules. That is clearly interference. The fielder had to change his path to avoid a collision. Intent doesn’t matter. Blame the baserunner.
@steventx24@scottmerkin No the ball is not dead when the infield fly rule is called. The batter is out, but the runners may advance at their own risk. If the ball was dropped and rolled away, the runner could have advanced to third. If it is a dead ball, the runner must remain at second.
@CoalitionHoops I agree with your first point but disagree with your second point. If it’s a foul you call it. You can’t let the game situation determine which fouls you call. If it’s a foul in the first minute it is a foul in the last minute.
@RealDannyB As Lions fans we are way to used to being disappointed, so we’re waiting for the other shoe to drop. We have to get over that. We also have to keep in mind that this is year three, and the window is just beginning to open. If anyone would have told us last year that the Lions
@JoJoFromJerz The republicans spent 25 years painting Hillary Clinton as corrupt until people began believing it. Democrats must continue to point up the corruption of the Trump crime family and repute the baseless charges against Joe Biden very strongly.
@DET2335@PrideOfDetroit That position is exactly what the FL should want. His eyes are up and his shoulders are in position. The receiver dipped his head creating any head to head contact. If anyone should be fined it should be the receiver. This is just the hypocrisy of the
NFL. Branch better get used
