@AntBreach Really good write-up. How come some of your conclusions are moderating of excessively burdensome regulations e.g. minimum space, dual staircase requirements, as opposed to just repealing bad rules? The minimum space thing just seems something that needs deleting imo.
Throughout all of this time, we have not stopped working for a single day to bring everyone home from Russian captivity.
And today, we have an important result: 75 more of our people have returned to Ukraine. The Armed Forces, National Guard, border guards, and four civilians. All of them are already on their native land.
We remember about every person. We are making every effort to find each and every one of our people. I am grateful to the team responsible for the exchanges.

@mr_james_c The core problem is that fees for retail investors are insanely high. If you switched out of passive investment for active, you'd probably pay a higher fee and they're statistically unlikely to outperform the market, even before fees, so you end up worse off
@IronEconomist A year ago at a digital marketing agency I work at, everyone was buzzing about chatgpt. Since then it's made numerous improvements apparently, but barely anyone routinely uses it.
People who love the next shiny tech thing overhyped it.
@JonBatchelor8@jamesjohnson252 Agreed. Nobody would know about small boats if it wasn't blown up into a huge deal. It's not small boat groups that are screwing up housing, NHS access etc
@LoftusSteve Do you not consider nuclear part of the green mix? If we could build nuclear plants at a decent clip it should be doable, but we can't currently
@RScowler@DanNeidle@RichardJMurphy Curious to Dan's answer. I imagine some of the issue is wealth that was accumulated due to unreasonably low taxes on some forms of income e.g. someone who gets most of their (high) income from rents, dividends or CGT doesn't pay 40%+.
This is fixable at source.
@ecommerceshares It's a mediocre fitness product though, no different from any fitness fad that pops up and fades away. All you have is large groups of people doing random movements off of screens, with maybe 1 underqualified coach.
Albeit that's the franchisee's problem, less so head office.
