A 74-year-old male was stuck in a demonstration convoy on Highway 3 last week as he was attempting to drive his 82-year-old sister, who was in dire need of medical care, to the hospital. The convoy was “slow-rolling” on the only highway to the only hospital in the area. #rcmpmb

Stop acting like pandemic mandates are a tyrannical attack on your "freedoms" & "rights".
You aren't free to drive drunk or smoke in restaurants. It's not "your right" to take a dump on Main Street. When you live AMONG OTHERS there are rules to protect the group.
This is not new.
Getting my summer camp on and learning how to sail!
@sparrowlakecamp made lemons out of lemonade with COVID restrictions. Having so much fun at family camp! Wish it was a regular thing https://t.co/qLB9lWo30l
COVID-free for the first time since March 26, 2020! 🎉 This is the first time the MSICU at Toronto General does not have any COVID patients. We are very grateful for the extraordinary MSICU team! #ThankYou
Space fact:
NASA scientists found that astronauts grew an average of three percent taller during their stay at the International Space Station. For instance, a man who is 1 m 80 cm (5ʹ10″) tall on Earth would grow to 1 m 85 cm (6ʹ) while in orbit.
My Dad rarely spoke about residential school. However, one thing that stuck with me was his account of how the older boys would position themselves closer to the door in the dorms so the younger boys wouldn’t be chosen when the priests came to get them at night. #215children

@fordnation The variants are already here. Yes border polices are needed. But we got to deal with what we have
I’m pleased to see the gap in vaccines/doses has dropped significantly. But we need focused efforts in hot spots areas. 75% of the doses should be going to there to prevent spread
7/7 So in conclusion: @ZainManji built something that we were all impressed the US government could build and that Canada hadn't thought of... in under 3 hours! Thanks Zain!

The flawed M.O. of #Ontario's #COVID19 vaccination program has been "speed over precision".
This failed when it took 9 weeks weeks to vaccinate 70K #LTC residents.
And it's failing Peel—a region that is 1/34 in #COVID19 cases but 25/34 in vaccines administered (H/T @Billius27).
"Something to think about:
The Earth is 4.6 billion years old. Let's scale that to 46 years. We have been here for 4 hours. Our industrial revolution began 1 minute ago.
In that time, we have destroyed 50% of the world's forests. This is not sustainable." #EarthDay
@1LoafOfMeat @MichaelRBodner @travjax71 @Tesla I had a similar issue for a while. Took me a bit to figure out what was happening. As soon as I plugged in it would start to charge. Forget what version. Multiple Reboots, toggle settings, etc did nothing. Setup a mobile appt. and 2-3 days later magically disappeared.
@fordnation I don’t see a rapid increase in the data from the last 1-3 weeks. Still hovering around 100k/day. While we have 1.3M+ doses in the freezer. I get there is a lag, but let’s go!
