First, I'm very saddened to hear of the passing of a well known and respected cardiologist who has a very good YouTube channel of almost 100 K. Well respected and loved.

I found out this morning. He passed just a couple days ago. Heart attack. 59 years old.

I immediately wondered the obvious questions. Was he a carnivore?

Fact is he was a leading plant based doctor. My first thought was, can you imagine the outcry had he been a carnivore?

In looking at the comments of the announcement, to which there was no mention of why he had passed -- I found that out doing a simple Google search his official cause of death was cardiac arrest.

I am a cardiac event – Widowmaker – survivor I went plant based at the start for the first 2 to 3 years. But things weren't right.

A year and a half ago I switched to a keto carnivore type diet, definitely eliminating sugar, etc.

I'm not celebrating this information, I post to give those of us who worry about heart disease, some hope. In an ironic way.

We have much to learn about a heart healthy existence.

I remember clearly seen that if you followed the protocol of a plant based no oil diet, you would not, nor would you have to worry about dying or even having a heart attack.

And those that did have a heart attack on a plant-based diet, were dismissed with they obviously didn't follow the protocol.

I'm saddened that such a young brilliant man passed this past week. But I'm motivated to stay on a metabolic healthy path. — healthy fats, low low carb, no sugar, meat based WOE.
