total geek but you know, we all are for something. or like me for a bunch of things... trying to accept graduate life 🙃 adding policy geek to the list 🤷🏼♂️
Curious if there were any resale Ariana tickets - never having searched before - and so guess who’s the ticket platform… @AXS_UK! And despite the fact I have never looked at tickets for her tour, never refreshed, no VPN, not on WiFi, AXS still thinks I’m a bot. Useless system!
Unsurprisingly @AXS_UK didn’t try to help at all over message. They just copied the useless ‘advice’ which I’ve followed yet still repeatedly been unable to buy tickets I’ve successfully added to my basket.
Sort it out guys please. It shouldn’t be this hard to buy from you…
All the times @axs@AXS_UK wouldn’t let me buy a ticket to All Points East. Despite the fact I have an account and seen many shows (so clearly not a bot). Seriously you make billions each year but can’t develop bot detection that takes out bots instead of legitimate music fans?!!

@axs@AXS_UK not letting me buy tickets for the 2nd time today after trying for a month is driving me to a twitter/x post for the 1st time in while.
Logged into my app which I’ve used to go to multiple events, you should be able to tell me apart from a bot! Get it together AXS!!
@BBCR1 Got to the front and I could put 1 ticket in my basket but not 2. I checked over 10 times (changing between 1 and 2 tickets, releasing the single tickets I was allowed to put in it). Disappointed I couldn’t buy tickets that clearly existed.. as I’m not confident going on my own
Women and girls are agents of change and we all have to do better in ensuring that tacking climate change and tackling gender inequalities are done together. And that’s why implementing the #GenderActionPlan is essential - we need more gender responsive policy making. #cop27
Today is Gender Day at #COP27
A series of events will be held at the UK Pavilion to champion women and girls’ agency, building on momentum for the delivery of gender-responsive local, national and global #ClimateAction 🌍

Proud to have participated in the Youth Negotiators Academy and use the key skills I learned through our rigorous training in these really important negotiations.

@AlexanderOrlov8@KellyBeans7@BBCBreaking Then imagine you need to decide on 70 meals at once. All in one go. It’s a lot to do. And to have everyone agree to the exact same thing is incredibly hard. That’s why in person is the only way - you need many conversations, quickly. Not breakout rooms and dodgy connections.
@AlexanderOrlov8@KellyBeans7@BBCBreaking Imagine having 197 people going for a meal. You have to decide where you’re going, what you’re eating, when, how. Not only that, but you all have to be completely agreed on all those things in advance. Even what condiments you have.
@FriedmanRanken@KellyBeans7@BBCBreaking Yes. That’s pretty much the point of UN negotiations. Not very sovereign to expect countries to just let one or two agree everything. It’s all 197 parties reaching consensus
@KellyBeans7@BBCBreaking They're ultimately negotations with people from Hawaii to New Zealand. It's very hard to negotiate virtually at all, let alone when some people would be up at 2-9 am and others doing 5-12pm and all hours between depending on where in the world you'd be.
We are glad to announce that our program is now LIVE and currently ongoing! 😄🎉
+50 youth climate leaders are part of our first cohort of our #YouthNegotiators Academy representing 27 countries for #COP27 (what a coincidence!) from all regions of the world 🗺.
In Glasgow, all countries recognised the importance of involving Indigenous Peoples in addressing & responding to climate change. Proof countries are implementing this starts with their inclusion.

"Traditional ecological knowledge is just as important as western knowledge" 💚
On #IndigenousPeoplesDay, hear Cissy Gore-Birch, from the International Savanna Fire Management Initiative discuss her community's experience of driving forward #ClimateAction 🌏
