The @philredcross, @IFRC, and @aseforg are strengthening 🇵🇭 readiness for public health emergencies through a two-year stockpiling initiative supported by @JapanGov.
Through this effort, life-saving medical supplies and equipment such as masks, oxygen tanks, personal protective equipment, vaccination devices, and many others have been strategically prepositioned in PRC warehouses in the Philippines.
PRC Delivers Hot Meals and Medical Care to Davao City Fire Survivors
Following the 3rd-alarm fire in Purok 7, Brgy. Tomas Monteverde, the Philippine Red Cross immediately mobilized to support affected families. With 50 houses damaged and 133 families impacted, response efforts are in full swing.
On March 17, PRC served 332 individuals with hot meals and provided medical assistance, including treatment for minor injuries and blood pressure monitoring.
As 32 families temporarily shelter at the barangay gym, PRC continues to deliver essential aid—ensuring no one is left behind.

Gov. Rosal leaves behind a legacy of genuine service, dignity, and love for humanity, a legacy that will continue to guide the Philippine Red Cross and inspire generations of volunteers.

More than 800 aftershocks have been recorded in the Southeastern Philippines after the magnitude 6.9 earthquake hit the region two days ago, affecting hundreds of thousands.

🔴 PRC UPDATE | Trillion Peso March
As of Sept 21, 6PM, the Philippine Red Cross, under Chairman Richard J. Gordon, assisted a total of 116 patients in Manila and EDSA. Most were vital signs and minor cases, with two patients transported to PGH and QMMC.
PRC deployed 16 ambulances, 3 first aid stations, 4 foot patrols, 8 scooters, and 201 personnel to ensure safety. Chairman Gordon said, “The Red Cross is always ready to serve.”
