Fantastic day of atheltics yesterday at @stratfordspeed - highlights were @HannahBrier98 Welsh 200m record, Tammy George running world u20 qualifying time in the 200m..and Holly running the Euro u18 qualifying time also in 200m (in this clip). This meet never disappoints.
Really excited about @athlos coming to London in September!! Amazing venue for it, the home of Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers. Who themselves have some amazing female athletes. I might be slightly bias however!
What a great piece. We so rarely get in depth interviews outside of the big olympic / worlds cycle. Loved this. Plus Keely is a generational talent, she will get that record!
Spent a few hours with Keely Hodgkinson, her coach Trevor Painter and their group this week. After that new world record, she was in sparkling form. Interview hereโฆ
In so many ways @Arsenal is such a well run football club. But the continued ticket/box office problems are unforgivable, given the profile of this team. The system collapsed today and when you did get back on the payment gateway failed multiple times. I just don't understand why the club continues to allow it's ticketing partner to perform so badly.
Top night of athletics tonight. Get yourself onto the @WorldAthletics website to watch the free stream. Seeing @keelyhodgkinson going for the 800m indoor record the big highlight!
In the last of the 300m finals, Holly Ryan took U17 gold in a season's best of 38.73. Earlier, Arthur Woyton was crowned U15 boys' winner in 37.24 and Matilda Nott clocked 41.14 for a winning PB in the U15 girls' race.
Day 1 of theย England Athletics U20, U17 and U15 Open Indoor Championships, powered by @CitroenUK,ย saw a string of superb performances in eightย intense, action-packedย hours of world class action ๐

Is there anything more ridiculous than @SpotifyUK audiobook hour based monthly limits. People don't listen by the hour, they start a title and if they are enjoying it generally want to finish it. So frustrating...!
Great to see UK athletics deliver a financial surplus, the first in many years. A great turnaround by the current management team. Won't have been easy, with some difficult decisions. But the organisation is now on a really good financial footing for the future.
First visit to @TheWave in Bristol at the weekend. Absolutely loved it. Facilities and of course the waves were great. But even better than that, every single member of staff we came into contact were helpful, super friendly and really knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!
"We have a unique opportunity here. Weโre both running well"

@InPostUK owned Yodel - quite possibly the worse company ever in terms of both the service they are supposed to provide and subsequent 'customer service.' Why would you as a company choose to use them to deliver to your customers?
Really simple but really important fix from https://t.co/310tJJclaS - when using it to develop code, you would often hit max output and message limits and have to start a new chat. The new chat wouldnt have any of the context of the previous chat - so you would lose a lot of that memory. That seems to have changed this morning - I got a pop up that says (its in beta) that it will now reference highlights from previous conversations so it has that wider context / understanding. Good work @AnthropicAI
@EnglandAthletic Amazing season. She's worked so hard. England Athletics 300m u17 indoor champ, ESSA English schools 300m champ and now England Athletics outdoor 300m champ. Plus u18 world leading time as her PB for the 300m.
@KatharineMerry@BritAthletics@WightmanGeoff Please can you do a s/o to Holly Ryan and her Shaftesbury Barnet sprint group, watching here today. And give bon Jovi shot through the heart a spin! Thank you.
