The Steelers wasted 3 years with Kenny Pickett.
They wasted 1 year with washed Russ Wilson
They're wasting another 2 years with washed Rodgers.
6 years wasted. The same organization that's been in "win now" mode since the end of the Ben Era wasted the last 6 years not winning.
The Steelers draft well.
They then go out of their way to get rid of their best draft picks, choosing to instead pay aging players past their prime. Incredible display of incompetence from a front office standpoint.
What a giant fumble by the Steelers & Omar Khan. Pittsburgh asked for a good man cover CB1 for a decade, got one in Joey Porter Jr. & then couldn’t find a way to keep him because of prehistoric franchise rules. Steelers are worse today in the present & short-term future.
6.00 ERA, 4.83 career ERA and he’s talking like this? Some players voices carry weight, Bennett Sousa isn’t one of those guys, he does carry a 1.800 WHIP though.
Get this guy out of the city.
If this were a fight night it would be an above average one. A perfectly fine, actually.
Issue is, people are still fixated on the idea of numbered events meaning more.
They don’t. They cost the same. There’s literally no difference.
And guess what? Over the course of the next 7 years you’ll get more numbered events like this. Get used to it.
We wanted PPV die, right? And with that dies the urgency to stack the deck for the numbered events. And let’s be honest, that trend started long ago which led to this.
The old model dead.
In Islam's last 2 title fights he has had OVER HALF AN HOUR of control time and has registered 0 submission attempts and done almost no damage with ground and pound... It's starting to get silly this is just running out the clock to win desisions on control time.
Dr. Fauci is refusing to answer any questions, asserting his fifth amendment rights in response to all questions. Fauci belongs in prison for the rest of his life. A shameful & cowardly exit from public stage for one of the biggest liars in US history.
A few short years ago in 2022, the Astros won 106 games and the World Series.
Following the World Series win, they decided to fire the GM, the Asst GM, and multiple front office and analytics brains.
They proceeded to hire a “scout” as GM in order get back to talent driven baseball - not analytics driven baseball.
Now, this team is in the bottom third of the MLB in standing and almost every statistical category possible.
I feel like there’s a lesson to be learned here….
If this was Aaron Judge the MLB’s pinned post would be his latest HR and their first 5 tweets every day would be a graphic comparing his numbers to Barry Bonds
Former Astros Manager Dusty Baker spoke on Jose Altuve and the Astros cheating scandal, via the @allthesmokeprod
“You know the guy who took the brunt of it was really Jose Altuve, and he was really the most innocent dude there. That really affected me, how he was treated and he didn’t deserve it.”
The Astros Golden Era may have inevitably came tumbling down, but the clear beginning of the end was when Jim Crane undermined the GM job and let Jeff Bagwell start calling shots. That was as bad of a display as you’ll see from an owner during a run like that. Jerry Jones-like.
