It seems Baba Ramdev repeated sorry many times in court today.
Randeep Hooda should next make Baba Ramdev's biopic, he is already in character to play this scene.
While picking up holes in a “glaring case of faulty investigation” concerning money laundering, a Delhi Court has said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) must introspect as to what steps are required to be taken by it for ensuring expeditious and fair investigation in all the cases.

So many on India Twitter started discussing high income tax and poor or nil returns on it. Hope this will be a strong election issue in upcoming elections, politicians aren't going to talk about it but atleast salaried class can talk and vote accordingly.
There will be atlest 2-3 people dependent on each salaried individuals, imagine if you can strongly raise your voice and reflect it in your voting patterns, they will listen to you for sure. It's all about vote politics.
IBC SCAM | Arun Jaitley had one more corruption innovation to his credit. The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
Banks were made to write off willful bad debts under IBC. ₹ 10.6 Lakh crore was written off, and how much money Modi made is to be investigated and found. Arun Shourie again:
A coal-rich mine block inside a dense forest, unlocked for auction following lobbying by an association of private power industry players over-riding the environment ministry’s objection, has been awarded to Adani Group.
For Adani, no laws or rules matter https://t.co/v7aY1fFHsg
Reservations for Christian students at CMC Vellore: Is it negative or positive for our country?
1. CMC Vellore has 58 seats out of 100 reserved for Christians. Two other institutes that have reservation for Christians are CMC Ludhiana (64 reserved out of 100 seats) and St John’s Medical College, Bengaluru (120 reserved out of 150 seats).
Combining these 3 colleges, 242 seats are reserved for Christians out of 350, leaving 108 (31%) seats for non-Christians.
2. At the time of 2024-25 counselling, India would have 818 medical colleges, with a possible intake of 1,23,445 medical students.
If we look at 242 reserved seats at national level, the reserved portion for Christians is a mere 0.2% (242 out of 1,23,445 seats).
3. Many of the CMC Vellore-trained Christian doctors serve in remote rural areas of our country.
I had the privilege to spend a couple of weeks at Nav Jiwan hospital, located at Satbarwa (Palamu dist), Jharkhand in 1992 (during MBBS). The great medical services in such a remote place were possible only because of Christian doctors trained at CMC Vellore. There are many other Christian mission hospitals in various remote areas of our country, being run by CMC Vellore-trained doctors. If 0.2% reservation for Christians can achieve this, should we complain or applaud it?
4. There is no discrimination in treatment of patients based on religion at CMC Vellore. In fact, majority of patients are non-Christians belonging to Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, etc. Subsidized treatment is offered to about 50% of patients, and again, most of them are non-Christians.
5. There is no discrimination in medical education in terms of religion at CMC Vellore. All receive the same high-quality education and training, irrespective of their religions.
6. Hindu festivals such as Holi and Diwali are celebrated at CMC Vellore campus with great fervour. Christian students and faculty take wholesome part in the celebrations.
(Footnote: I am a proud Bharatiya and a proud Hindu; however, I appreciate the good in every faith/religion).
Acceptance is the first step towards correction (10 yrs late)
A Govt that does not adequately prioritize Human Capital Development (especially in the North, and in Primary School enrollment), and actively espouses crony capitalists over MSME's can NEVER facilitate job creation
Story that caught the eye: India’s youth account for almost 83% of unemployed workforce and share of youngsters with secondary or higher education in the total unemployed youth has almost doubled from 35.2% in 2000 to 65.7% in 2022, as per India Employment Report 2024 released by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Institute of Human Development (IHD). Shouldn’t every party be asked what will they do to solve ‘rozgaar’ instead of spinning election narratives around who said what about whom? #BattleFor2024
Many countries depreciate their currency to keep the export alive.
INR keeps falling by 4% on an average per year (in fact it fell much faster post COVID). Why? (among many reasons) because if we do not depreciate our currency our manufacturing will struggle further.
The more important point that people miss is: that after depreciating your currency-- are the EXPORTS still competitive?
So there are 2 examples:-
[1] China. China manipulates its currency. Low end Chinese products find their way to India. And, these are extremely competitive products.
China has literally moved up the ranks by exporting cheap stuff.
[2] Turkey for example, again depreciates its currency. They launched a Citizenship by investment program wherein people could deposit 500K USD in a Bank FD. And, after 3 years, they would get 500K USD + interest.
Sounds great, right? actually no.
This money was re-paid in their local currency (Turkish Lira). More importantly: Turkish Lira last month lost roughly 3% of its value (compared to USD); in the last last year, lost 70-80% of its value.
The government then had to abandon this and move to a new system.
Point is: when a country's export does not rise (competitively speaking), but its currency keeps falling, it is a cause of worry.
Congress built their offices in 70 Years :
86 offices
BJP built their offices in Just 10 Years :
513 offices, 600 under construction.
But as Per Godi Media, Congress was the most Corrupt Party while BJP is the most Honest Party.
Lack of access to Psychiatric Treatment
In the seventies, we as students, were told that persons with mental illness in India did not get treatment because there were only 300 psychiatrists in the country.
Today there are around 10,000 psychiatrists in the country while the treatment gap has not improved much.
What is different is that now we have psychiatrists with spare time waiting for patients who cannot access them, because of cost.
Most of psychiatric treatment is OPD based and insurance in India does not cover OPD treatment.
Aam Aadmi Party office has been sealed off from all sides. How can access to a national party office be stopped during the Lok Sabha election? This against the ‘level playing field’ promised in the Indian Constitution.
We are seeking time with the Election Commission to complain against this.
Will you believe me if I told you the reason why a nice pink healthy liver turned into the grotesque form seen below?
Diabetes.
Absolutely no alcohol.
Diabetes and overweight/obesity are among the most common causes of cirrhosis in India. In fact, metabolic syndrome, of which diabetes and obesity are a part of will soon topple alcohol as commonest cause of fatty liver and cirrhosis in the future.
Sugar is the new alcohol.
Diabetes does to your liver what alcohol does too.
In fact, the largest series of liver cancer in India, done from Kerala found that most common cause of cirrhosis and hence cancer of liver was non-alcohol-related fatty liver disease (now called MASLD).

If you have diabetes and is obese/overweight, you can prevent this from happening to your liver by controlling both.
If a person tells you diabetes can be controlled with medications alone, he is wrong. If a person tells you that diabetes can be controlled by diet and exercise alone, he is wrong.
Management of diabetes in the majority may require both. Medications become mainstay in some patients, while lifestyle changes in others.
Medications for diabetes are life saving. They prevent organ damage due to diabetes. They do not cause organ damage. If the doctor suggests insulin, take it. It is for your own good. Introduction of insulin saved millions of children dying from diabetes.
None of the alternative medicine practices help you control diabetes. It is all a scam. All supplements that you see on the shelf and online and on social media that claim to control diabetes are desgined and sold by scamsters, some with a PhD and some who are doctors, while some playing the part well. Save your money. There is "no safe and effective diabetes controlling herbal or non-herbal supplement."
You do not need a fancy fad diet to control diabetes and lose weight. Control your portions, and go on a calorie deficit by working out. Limit/ replace high glycemic foods with lower glycemic options. Walking is not an exercise. Brisk walking is. Jogging is. Running is.
If you can shed kilos the safe way, open your mind towards great medical options to control your diabetes and be consistent in your physical activity, rest assured, the chances of your liver looking like the one below, is very slim.
Exercise and diet control are not the only options for you to lose weight if you have morbid obesity - there are endoscopic techniques and bariatric surgery. These are excellent options. Do not fear these methods because they maybe life saving options. In fact, bariatric surgery reversed cirrhosis and reduced heart related deaths in a fantastic study. Speak to your doctor to see if you are a candidate for the same.

A day after Prime Minister Modi's government notified its "Fact Check Unit," the Supreme Court of India has stayed its operation till the main challenge, FCU's validity, is decided by the High Court of Bombay. Chief Justice Chandrachud's court said the challenges involve "serious constitutional questions."
It's a win for free speech today! The Supreme Court has pushed back against excessive, draconian exercise of censor powers by the Executive especially during general elections.
@deepigoyal Can you please ensure that the delivery partners & their families are also pure veg- otherwise they may just be serving khichdi after eating chicken for lunch with the same hands. Also what about the veg status of the farmers who have grown the rice used in pure veg khichdi?
[1] Your income is built on your After-Tax income, not your CTC.
[2] The money you make depends on your ability to solve problems, not your degrees.
[3] How much risk you are able to take in life depends the safety nets you build & the privileges you have (or the lack of any options- 0 safety nets).
[4] Your kids care about HOW MUCH time you spend with them, not how much money you make
[5] Your savings are built on: income growth & ability to beat inflation (this theoretically can be infinite).
Not on how much expenses you can cut (this theoretically can only be 100%).
[6] Your life is built on free time & flexibility you have; money is just the fuel that gets you there.
