@je_police I’m going to go to my grave thinking about that.
I can’t believe such an impractical sexual position was ever attempted, let alone immortalised in marble.
Keir Starmer tells Labour’s National Policy Forum if the party wins power “the rescue job will be like none other”.
“Think of it like this: if our job in 1997 was to rebuild a crumbling public realm, in 1964 - to modernise an economy left behind by the pace of technological change, or in 1945 - to build a new Britain out of the trauma of a collective sacrifice, then in 2024 - it will have to be all three.”
"It's great to be in a Keir sandwich"
Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner thanks by-election voters in Selby and Ainsty for "putting their trust in the Labour Party"

@lewis_baston@ProfTimBale When my wife was pregnant she was treated on Daphne Ward. I assumed this was a person, not discouraged by a phone call to them being answered :
“Hello, Daphne Ward …”
I don’t think I replied “Hi Daphne. I was hoping …”
@ShakeyStephens They aren’t partly because lots of people at the top of the party think/hope they are on track for a big majority. If they win big but still don’t get one, that will change a lot of the thinking
If Labour win the next election by 10 points and don’t get a majority there will be a greater call for PR from the left. (Not that that would give them a majority ofc)
I fear my feed is soon going to be me just crazily shouting that it “ALREADY IS OUR OWN SILICON VALLEY”.
It already has a name. And a Wikipedia page.

Oh for goodness sake, we do not need our own “Silicon Valley” - and the American one destroyed the local ecology. Council housing always welcome, but this has a whiff of HS2 mania about it. A golden research triangle?! Perhaps a Cape Canaveral too? Save the Fens!
