I'll never forget my first Ofsted lesson observation, as an NQT, when they said I couldn't rely on this level of energy to engage and enthuse my class as it would diminish as I got older. I hope they get to watch this, 20 years later. π€
What can we learn from the death of the #Queen?
The world has watched her live through the process of #OrdinaryDying, and yet dying went unspoken, un-named.

This is really awful to hear and Iβm so sorry this was your experience @DrJessMRCVS As a student nurse I am curious why you think there is such a reluctance to administer the appropriate pain relief @sthompsonjones ?
@DrJessMRCVS@DrSdeG I am so sorry for this awful experience.
Sadly far from unusual, I see and hear this far too often in my capacity as a GP, and have experienced similar as a patient myself.
I hesitate to say this, but hospital nurses seem generally very reluctant to provide adequate analgesia.
