@blinklabs_io Interesting, tested searching on private tab, but Google seems to identify me anyways and delivers results based on my browsing habits. When searching from another device not tied to my identity I also don't get any results like you.
Dropping by to let everyone know that I spoke with @phillip_pon and we are working out a plan to create a discord for a great migration of the Cardano community from X. We can have happy, positive, well-moderated channels and leave behind the drama, lies, endless rage, and embittered people for a place where real conversations and real progress can be made.
I will continue broadcasting live streams to X as I have a million followers here, but will only take AMA questions from the new Cardano and current Midnight discords. I've seen some commentary that broadcasting means I'm back on X. For those people, I can't solve stupid.
Enjoy your scandals of the week and FUD. Real work is done elsewhere. Looking forward to Cardano ascending to better days, governance, and culture.
@blinklabs_io It doesn't come up for you when you search that phrase? For me it's usually reddit or the forum - never Twitter and discord isn't searchable from the web, which makes it the worst place for a public forum imo.
@blinklabs_io It's a place where serious discussions took place, especially in the olden days before everyone went chasing likes on Twitter.
At least for me it's literally the 2nd search result when googling for sth like "cardano how does staking work"
@jonahkoch@bobasfk I'd agree that iog produced way more tangible results than emurgo, but it is still unclear how exactly the money was spent. Charles mentioned several times that iog does not depend on this Ada and that they have multiple income streams. Ask for treasury ada and expect scrutiny
@jonahkoch@bobasfk Aren't they still delegating to a bunch of stake pools?
Don't care about his private pockets, but I do think it is fair to ask how, where and when the genesis distribution including the btc proceeds were spent. Especially now that they apparently require more cash
none of you know how much IOG has spent or currently holds or spends
none of you know how much Emurgo has spent, or where, or currently holds or spends
Charles made IOG private to avoid transparency and accountability
Emurgo just doesnt give a shit and no pressure is put on them despite being a foundation
only CF has released a transparency report
How any of you expect to do governance without knowing what 2 of the 3 founding entities have spent on is beyond me
Emurgo and IOG might as well be the pentagon at this point
why do you accept this shit as a community is beyond me. why are we replicating the mistakes of governments?
how have you been convinced to give money to people who arent transparent or accountable?
wake up and stop gargling their balls
DReps, we need your support!
Please support our proposal to continue building Global Order Book on Cardano!
This proposal connect TVL from all Cardano Dapps together and make it more accessible for new products to come on Cardano and hence WILL INCREASE transaction on Cardano!
Our proposal is one of the FEW that are NOT just idea, but already live work in progress which demonstrate our capability and commitment to Cardano future!

@DeansEpoch@masatoalexander@intel_honesty I'll assume that he also owned a bunch of cheaply mined or bought btc. The issue is that the "contract" did not clearly specify the deliverables. Saying they worked for free the last years rubs me the wrong way. Going the "commercial route" didn't improve anything over eth's way.
@Bkclaims@ada_ddy@JureKaramarko Emurgo and iohk combined received 10% (4.5 bn) of the total supply of ADA (45 bn). What's not clear from the docs is who received the largest portion of the 100k BTC from the ICO.

General scaling was part of the Basho roadmap. I think it's fair to say that the Basho era was kinda skipped for the most part. According to what was published, Praos with pipelining could do up to 170 basic tx/s.

@adamKDean@yutazzz@jonahkoch Since input endorsers where part of the original roadmap (Basho) I wonder why this is not covered by the original iog "contract"

@Trezor Safe 7 is pretty nice. Even nicer with these two changes:
- layout of alphabetical keyboard should be the same as on model T. This is the standard T9 everyone's used to.
- allow to turn on "force passphrase on device" from the trezor suite, instead of trezorctl only.
thx
