Mushrooms contain ergosterol.
When exposed to sunlight, ergosterol converts to vitamin D2.
It is not vitamin D3 (the most effective form), but it contributes.
Place mushrooms gill-side up in direct sunlight for 30-60 minutes before eating.
The vitamin D content increases significantly.
Simple. Free. Worth knowing.

It should be certified by DHA.
It should allow easy remittance of SHA from my employees, and reliable claims of SHA from patients.

Hi Kenya and @StandardKenya
Do you want a corrupt criminal handling the most of your Kenyan money?
Pretty sure Charles Kerich - who is responsible for more money than anyone else in Kenya as CEC of Nairobi County - has been breaking the law.
He’s been director & shareholder (via his brother Andrew as proxy) of VeGrid Ltd. For the US branch he is actually shareholder himself - check https://t.co/EvxEIg6vGR
🇰🇪 Kenyan law is quite clear about conflicts of interest for public officials.
If you are a County Executive Committee (CEC) member, you are a State officer. You cannot use public office to advance your own private business interests.
📌 Constitution, Article 75: A State officer must avoid conflicts between personal interests and public duties and cannot put private interests ahead of the public interest.
📌 Constitution, Article 77 + Leadership & Integrity Act, s.26: A full-time State officer is restricted from other gainful employment, particularly where it conflicts with the office or impairs independent judgment.
📌 Conflict of Interest Act 2025, s.19: A public officer cannot be a party to or beneficiary of a goods, works or services contract with their own reporting entity—and cannot use official power to award or influence a contract in which they have a private interest.
📌 Leadership & Integrity Act, s.35: You cannot simply do indirectly through another person what would breach the integrity rules if you did it yourself.
Oh and I have recordings and will swear under oath in court Vegrid Ltd. CEO tom ogutu told me charles kerich is the actual director, and he also admitted he is making corrupt illegal moves to benefit the solar company.
It is a new month.
October is here,
October gives you another chance.
Only 92 days remain before the year ends.
Whatever has gone wrong this year, don't relent.
• Pursue your goals.
• Sharpen your skills.
• Finish what you started.
When others win, learn to celebrate them.
Jealousy keeps you watching another person's progress until you become blind to the opportunities in front of you.
You may have lost some ground, that is fine.
But you have not lost the year.
Use these 92 days to make up for lost ground.
Finish the year stronger.

Before I forget,
Do you see that Ka'small segment of Mabagathi Highway near Kenyatta Market that looks like concrete slab?
The one that sounds like you are driving on top of a paving slab?
Yes, that distinct segment.
That was Raila Odinga's engineering test on building a long-lasting road.
He tested it in 2003 as Roads Minister
I can say a lot about Babaman.
In 2007 while campaigning in Kibwezi he asked,
"Do you mean we can't even build a meter of railway since the colonizer left 44 years ago? Even a meter? Can't we? Are we so dumb?"
I remember this statement so vividly as if it were yesterday.
This is how the SGR was formulated.
May Baba Continue Resting in Peace.
The End.
THIKA SUPERHIGHWAY was Raila Odinga's pet project.
In 2003, as Roads Minister, he and Engineer Joshua Toro, then MP for Kandara and Assistant Minister for Roads, crafted a master plan.
The THIKA Highway was the pilot project, followed by Rironi - Mau Summit - Londiani - Fort Tenan - Muhoroni, and Ngata - Salgaa - Mau-Summit - Londiani - Kericho - Kisumu - Busia.
But the constant conflicts between LDP and NAK stalled these Mega Projects.
The Orange-Banana conflict jeopardised every dream built in 2002 because people around Kibaki, like Karua, didn't like LDP near the government's policy-making meetings.
Then came 2008, and the Coalition Government was born after a horrible 2007 election.
Kipkalya Kones, as Roads Minister, restarted the stalled mega road projects. Then he died in June 2008 in a plane crash.
Then Franklin Bett was appointed Roads Minister. He restarted and supervised the Thika Highway groundbreaking ceremony, alongside Jimmy Wanjigi, who designed its financing instruments.
Baba carried all the insults when the project started,
"Economic saboteur"
"He is destroying our businesses"
"He wants EABL to collapse so that his molasses plant can start producing beer"
"This ODM part of the Government is heartless."
Kibaki was almost folding, but Jimmy Wanjigi told him off.
Baba and Bett remained firm, and the Highway was commissioned in November 2012 at Museum Hill. Kibaki was present alongside Johnny-come-lately Kalonzo Musyoka.
Baba carried the insults, the media rewrote the truth, and we carried the glory.
I know our history well because I have refused to let politicians and the media rewrite our historical journey.
The media hides the truth, broadcasts lies, to keep the masses misinformed and enraged.
This is a true story:
It is about a senior politician.
One morning, his wife left for work, as usual.
She left him sleeping.
When she arrived at work, she had forgotten her work laptop, and keys to her private cabinet.
Then quickly she drove back home.
There, the house door was ajar,
Something was a miss.
Then, when she entered the bedroom, she found her husband on top of their housemaid.
The first thing she did was to scream for help.
The housemaid looked uncomfortably abused and helpless.
The politician jotted out of the bedroom to the kitchen, still naked.
The housemaid got a beating from the wife, and the maid ran straight to the police station.
The police officer at the desk called the politician. The housemaid was crying uncontrollably.
The politician arrived, begging the housemaid not to escalate the chaos.
The housemaid accused the politician of sexual abuse, and repeated sexual violence.
The politician lost the 2022 election, but I see him all the time talking about integrity and respect for the law.
The wife filed for divorce.
Housemaids go through a lot.
Nitoboe?
Every morning, when you leave your house, know that you will meet people who are
• Abusive
• Provocative
• Reckless
People who are ready to ruin your day.
They are miserable people unleashing their misery on you so that you become like them.
Refuse to respond to them.
In politics,
If you make a single misstep, you will have to work so hard to retrace your steps.
By the time you retrace your steps, your competitors will be miles ahead.
It is a game of chess.
That is why it is prudent to keep silent and lock yourself in a room alone for 1 week before you decide.
The people around you are only benefiting from you; once the benefits start disappearing, they will also abandon you to their next political victim.
The people surrounding you as a politician are like parasites or ticks.
They use your political influence to suck you.
Once you hear,
"Bossy"
"Mhesh"
"The 6th"
"The 7th"
"Chief"
"Dad"
Just pause and reflect.
Don't let flattery get into your head.
Those flowery adjectives are lies to inflate your ego.
It is therefore beneficial to listen to people who will give you brutal truths, heart-wrenching honesty and straightforward answers.
Learn to play Chess and read two books
• The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli.
• 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene.
Otherwise, you will be left in the dark.
When "Maraga The 6th" was trending last year, we had planned to host a Space to discuss this question of debt.
When the activists who had hijacked Maraga heard that Nyakundi and I planned to restart the Spaces, they said we had been paid to scuttle Maraga's momentum.
We left it at that. Nyakundi focused on Samia, while I focused on the men's assembly, Nyeri.
I now wonder who scuttled Maraga's momentum.
Jealousy from jealous people made us to stop.
Let me explain,
Our spaces platformed many new people and gave them a voice (Kasmuel, Morara, Mercy Tarus, etc.). People you had never heard about.
Then, later, others started holding their own spaces, and that was a good thing, but it started to look like a competition.
They claimed that CN and I have been paid by Ruto to distract other Spaces. So, we said,
"Fine. We don't want to be the ones who derailed the conversations." We therefore respectfully stopped hosting them.
Unfortunately, they couldn't sustain the consistency, and they stopped too.
We all lost.
Hosting a successful Space took 5 days of planning, talking to prospective guests, building the week's thematic momentum, and sustaining a lively conversation on the timeline before it peaked on the microphone. Not to forget that I was hosting them in discreet hideouts using Starlink.
It was not an easy task.
However, I went back to hosting them, but on Men's health and wellness, on my Telegram Channel.
Most politicians heard the terms Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Boomers in my 2024 speeches and posts.
They had no idea about it then or they heard about them but never bothered to understand the influence of these generations on economy and politics.
If you are Gen Z today, it doesn't mean that when you turn 30, you become a millennial.
You can't be an X-Gen and then say, "30 years ago I was also a Gen Z."
You can't be a Gen-Z today, and a Millenial tomorrow.
