@cspaliwa1 @bscholl Kind of. Scramjets can't take off from the airfield though. You need to achieve Mach 4-5 to even light a scramjet engine.

The reality for hypersonics is uncrewed for the foreseeable future. Hard to build an airframe with this operational envelope and human survivability.
