It's been a rough year to be in school.
Yet this year has taught us the most about life. It has given us perspective, and reminded us, that pressure is what turns a stone into a diamond.
This poem is my gift to you.
Hold on to these lessons.
Congratulations,
Class of 2021.
Attention students, families and staff: Remote learning will continue until the end of the school year. There are no changes to existing in-person special education classrooms. We will be providing students, families and staff with an update on Thursday.
.@DDSBSchools and the DDSB Student Senate are checking in and asking for feedback on your in-person learning experience (including the move to remote learning). Participate in the In-Person ThoughtExchange https://t.co/SeqsHWqUeN by June 6 at 11:59 pm. #DDSBEngagement
We appreciate all that parents and caregivers are doing to support children’s mental health at home. It’s a pressure-filled time and you can only do your best. You are doing enough.
May 17 is International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. Today, while celebrating the freedom to love, we also draw attention to the unacceptable violence and discrimination faced by 2SLGBTQ+people. #WeAreDDSB@equity_DDSB
May 3-7 is #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek at @DDSBSchools! Check out the new 2021 video https://t.co/BBCOI3Vwl5 and wear green on Thurs, May 6 to show your support for children’s mental health.
Attention Families: Our school website and the DDSB website are currently down due to a server issue. We are working to resolve the issue with our website services provider. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to get the system back up and running smoothly.
Attention Elementary Families: The deadline to select your preferred learning option (in-person or virtual) is tonight at 11:59pm. We will also provide a one-week window in mid-August for families to modify their selection. More information will be communicated at that time.
