@P_SimmsWX@WxFront Lifetime PA resident, and an unhealthy monitorer of the weather radar. I can't recall ever seeing storm cells just form out of thin air, in the same spot like this. Then add in it's after dark when the storms usually die out. The direction of the front is also highly unusual.
@AndyKaplin Well, it's an existing facility, in an existing industrial park. It's actually using previously allocated resources. The Eli Lilly plant going in just a few miles away. That's the one that'll cause issues.
@MrLeadslinger I thought that was only here. New development. House prices starting at $650k+. Every single one bought before it was built. Same demographic.
@Strictlyirene Everyone is viewing this wrong. That's got to be his ex or ex fling. They know each other and she knows he ain't going to say a thing. He knows what he lost, the body language says it all.
@BillWms22@WilkowMajority It's sad. Used to listen as well, until it became obvious he had to follow the talking points on every. single. topic. There's not a single station for independent thought anymore.
@BarrettH07@coachdeesmith 100% correct. But, like any school age sport, band, scholastic, to be in the top 20%-ish, you need training outside of team practices. I tell my kids, this will be just like getting older. You need to find a way to work with a team of people, some of which, have zero skills.
@BarrettH07@coachdeesmith It's good those rec leagues still exist. I think that's what's changed in the last 25 yrs. Those leagues are the only chance some kids get for physical exercise. You can't compare AAU to that because they are meant for a different purpose. The rec is just for kids to have fun.
@ThePhilliesPod Not in the room of course, but I think what this team needs are a few more players who question management and a few less who are just willing to toe the line. No doubt he's a different character, but that's why we all loved the '93 team. It was full of them.
@Bean887964@UTrashAf@10inchtomfn Ok, agreed on that. I've always ended up around 90-95% winnings to losses and never got a W-2G either. I was curious if this would change document submittal thresholds. I was using much larger units this year, so trying to make sure I didn't mess up for next year if I broke even
@Bean887964@UTrashAf@10inchtomfn But, correct me if I'm wrong, but over the year, that $100 becomes $200k (based on unit size) and if you broke exactly even, then that's $20,000 income that needs to be accounted for. Right?
@0Obiewan2 @BoomersBetz FF is just the gateway IMO. Tired of picking a team just to need to fully reconsider by week 3? Need to wait all year for the winner takes all result? Why not pick your own props each week. We all love instant gratification.
@Bill54919622713@WilkowMajority We barely survived a toilet paper storage. Imagine a real supplies shortage. Even something like scrap metal drives like WWII would be traumatizing to people.
@hightek_rednek@4nt1p4tt3rn Curious, how is the water system closed loop? Most systems I've experienced are going to release the water as a vapor and add more. Best you can do is some kind of glycol system (or equiv), but then you're still using cooling water which evaporates and needs makeup water. Wrong?
@coldcallsniper Could be worse. Wait until they are playing the Blue Jay's in game 6 in Toronto and it's late innings with Jeff Hoffman and Jordan Romano pitching with the Phillies up 6-5.
@Contrarianhound@4nt1p4tt3rn Everyone graduates and thinks they are going to work for Google/Facebook. Comp Sci majors do great in building or industrial automation, especially if they are hands-on type people. There is so much cross over, but colleges never promote it unless it's a more technical college.
