@NobuntuSA and @BuildOneSA has seen this impending crisis and sent letter to my municipalities asking them to budget for the water remember but as usual they didn’t heed the warning this is where we are and the very people who voted for them are the ones who’ll suffer the most

As @BuildOneSA, we have for over a year warned of the impending water crisis in Gauteng and throughout the country.

We have also partnered with communities throughout the country to assist where the water crisis has hit.

In May, we wrote to mayors requesting that in their annual budgets, additional funding is provided and moved into a central emergency water fund to avoid taps running dry.

We cannot afford the economic impact of Day Zero.
