One more #ESTRO2024 phiRO Award shortlisted abstract: "Genetically-based analysis of dose surface maps for assessing toxity post-RT: an innovative method" by Eliana Gioscio shows how to include patient genetic risk in voxel-based analysis.
Carlos E Cardenas presented their winning approach in ESTRO Auto-RTP challenge "1-Click Victory: Leading the ESTRO Auto-RTP Challenge with an Integrated Auto-Planning Pipeline" during #ESTRO2024 and got nominated for the phiRO award.
"AI informed discussion on how dose outside the PTV affects distant failure in SBRT NSCLC patients " by Denis Dudas was also nominated for the phiRO award at #ESTRO2024. The importance of confounding variables and correct stratification was demonstrated.
Another phiRO award nominee at #ESTRO2024 was "OAPT: feasibility of prompt-gamma verfication for CBCT-based adapted plan" by Stephanie Bertschi from OncoRay.
For corrected or virtual CBCTs, PGI/dose range shifts were minimal (on phantoms). Results on patient data coming soon!
"MLC tracking and dose accumulation validation on the MR-linac using a real-time deformable dosimeter" by Madelon van den Dobbelsteen from UMC Utrecht was also nominated for the phiRO award #ESTRO2024! Measurements agreed well with calculation for various forms of real-time ART.
Another top scoring (and winner of the phiRO award🥇) #ESTRO2024 abtract was "Partial adaptation for oAPT triggered by PGI" by Virginia Gambetta from #OncoRay. Adapting just between two fields was as good as full oAPT for 2-field prostate PT. No need to wait to start treating!
