🤔This is Nigeria! 🇳🇬 Their villages are rundown. The roads are unpaved. The schools are crumbling. There is no electricity, no running water, no dignity. Yet they come to South Africa and demand what they have never been able to build for themselves. while their own leaders sit in luxury, laughing at them. And still, they refuse to fight. They refuse to hold their leaders accountable. They refuse to go home to build and turn Nigeria into a little Europe, Canada or America.
Let me respond to you with the honesty you seem incapable of mustering. You are a Nigerian man whose entire Twitter timeline is consumed by hatred for South Africa. You do not tweet about your own country's collapsing economy, your own leaders' corruption, your own people's suffering. You are obsessed with us. And that obsession reveals more about you than it does about us.
You say we blame all our misfortunes on foreigners. That is a lie. We blame our government. We protest against our leaders. We demand accountability from our own institutions. We are the ones marching, voting, and speaking out. What are you doing? Tweeting about South African women? Mocking our men? Insulting other nationalities? You are not a fighter. You are a keyboard warrior who has mistaken noise for action.
You say Nigeria is not perfect but not bad. Let me educate you buthi Nigeria has over 40% of its population living below the poverty line. Your healthcare system is collapsing. Your education system is underfunded. Your security situation is dire Boko Haram, banditry, kidnappings. Your leaders steal billions while your people starve. Yet you call that "not bad"? You are not honest. You are in denial. You would rather attack South Africa than face the truth about your own country.
You mention Cape Flats violence. Yes, we have gang violence. It is a tragedy. We condemn it. We deploy the army. We are trying to fix it. But you do not mention that we are also fighting protesting, voting, demanding better. You do not mention that our police are under-resourced, our courts overburdened, our communities traumatised. We are not perfect. But at least we are honest about our flaws. You hide behind a flag you abandoned long ago.
You are a man who has confused anger with courage. You attack South Africa because it is easier than facing Nigeria's failures. You mock our men while your own people flee in droves. You insult other nationalities while your country cannot even secure its own people. You are not a patriot. You are a coward.
Nigeria could be great if you used the same energy you spend hating us to hold your leaders accountable. If you demanded good governance, invested in infrastructure, and built a nation your people would be proud to call home. But you will not. Because honesty is painful. And you have chosen the easy path to blaming others but yourself.
So let me be clear, South Africa has its problems. But we own up to them, we have never declared perfection . We fight everyday, if you actually did your research based on real evidence and statistics, you would realise that we are doing everything we can to fight for what is right in our country. We will fix them. And we do not need your validation or your lectures. Fix your own house, have it in order. Then talk to us about being a man. Until then, your words mean nothing to us because they lack honesty . And we are not listening.
Nigeria 🇳🇬
This is what your people are doing here everyday. You must really be naive to believe that these criminals are successful businessmen and us SA🇿🇦 are jealous. Or maybe you’re all like that?
Your xenophobia story is no longer holding anymore.
@OriginalKhutso5 Unfortunately there are no men in Nigeria, sorry my sister all of them are sissified, cowards of note all they know is to sell drugs and human trafficking, online date scamming to mention few.
How can the Nigerian military effectively fight bandits in the forests if they are not properly fed and supported?
What will become of our country if this continues?
