Sepoy (L) Jimmy Ngamminlun Mate native Village was Sahumphai in Chandel District, his village was mere meters away from an Assam Rifles post, yet the Indian security forces were unable to save it from being completely burned and destroyed by Meitei armed militias in 2023.
