When was it introduced in the USA, reports over here say it was 2022 but if Trump was in office then it must be pre 2021? So confused

Today's semi final for England brought back so much trauma from 2021 in regards to personal issues that transpired the next day. Trauma that still bobbles beneath the service but a chance meeting has helped massively albeit with so much emotion.
