There's a problem with that 'bullet in flight' photo of Trump: The bullet appears to be flying about twice as fast as it should be. I did the math:

Fun fact: Over the past 15 years, I have taught more than 15,000 people photography. Earlier this year, we moved the @Photocritic Photo School to a brand new platform. Get to know you fellow students, share your photos and get feedback:

I love how the suggested post is "Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary "
It just patently makes no sense. Why? Because NOBODY remembers joining X. They joined Twitter.
The follow-up to my book Pitch Perfect is finally here. It's an free AI-powered pitch deck review service and an in-depth knowledge base / community support tool and much more. Check it out:

I would have posted a screenshot, a pithy joke, and a recommendation for this show, but somehow @apple (computers) and @AppleTV have decided I can't screenshot a show I love.
I get it. DRM and all that.
Anyway, I highly recommend the TV show in this screenshot. Enjoy.
I have done more than 50 Pitch Deck Teardowns on @TechCrunchPlus so far.
... And now I'm planning out the next 50! Would your startup's deck be interesting to our readers? Submit here: https://t.co/XVDoQ4WVSe
@Haje On reflection, I realize that it's much more likely tat this is a scam attempt, and not an actual #PRFail. Sorry :/
Having said that... I have had some weird and aggro texts from PRs over the years. Rule of thumb: If it's a new number, lead with who you are.
The sad thing is that this was from someone who is promoting something worth promoting. I wish the company well and I want the thing they are building to be everywhere.
The real hurt is that slick PR makes things easier, yes, but PR is _literally_ about knowing your audience.
Email I just received...
1. Sent to the wrong email address (Come on, it's not hard...)
2. "this is off the record" (nothing is off the record until there's a mutual agreement)
3. Do you want to write about this for WIRED? (I don't write for Wired, and never have)
#PRFail
I am going on a trip. So I need to get cash, and my first impulse was whether I could buy cash on Amazon. It seems fair. You give Amazon $500 and they ship you $500. That seems reasonable and sane.
Amazon has a history of buying affiliates that are making a ton of money, then letting them die a slow death. I'm still grumpy about @goodreads not getting any further development love, and now @dpreview - by far the best photo review site - is going down

The @diyphotography "is it AI or is it a photo" quiz is harder than it looks. I scored 12/15... How did you fare?

I'm so so so excited to be able to finally say we have a new @TechCrunch podcsst in town. Inside Startup Battlefield is a short-series pod I've been working on for the past couple months and I think you should check it out. https://t.co/TWibVe8qEO
