@sclubbVEVOII@GarcherAlios@ConeOfArc lmao who the fuck are you to say what everyone SHOULD be doing?
relationships “occur naturally” for some people, it doesn’t for others. Lucky you if that describes your experience but some have to be very intentional about getting what they want otherwise they get no one.
@sclubbVEVOII@GarcherAlios@ConeOfArc I think it's fundamentally incorrect to try to tell other people what they want or should want. Like how could it be incorrect to be in tune with yourself and your own interests?
I understand not wanting to force things, but I'm not convinced the person chasing is wrong for it.
@sclubbVEVOII@GarcherAlios@ConeOfArc "Men should do this if they want a relationship, but they shouldn’t WANT a relationship, but also they need to do this and that to enter one, but they’re also not supposed to want that."
The circle we’re moving in is so retarded it’s warping into an oval
@sclubbVEVOII@GarcherAlios@ConeOfArc It’s hilarious how you are so obsessed with being right about something you don’t actually care about you contradict yourself within the same comment thread. Females are real dude
@sclubbVEVOII@ConeOfArc Yes, men shouldn't expect a relationship off the bat, but your points still make no sense. Either we try to be friends and know them, then they think we only want friendship (or friendzone us), or we're direct and get rejected because, as you say, we need to know them better.
Sure, but you're leaving out the part where you have to actually MEET them to get them to know you. There's basically no difference with approaching someone to try and befriend them and asking them out if they are someone you view as a potential romantic partner.
It's easier if you already have an existing friend group and can meet someone through your friends. However outside of that it's always going to be seen for exactly what it is, you have an interest in them and are trying to begin courting them to see if you are compatible
@tankcat25@stephmondlitch It does seem like some of the replies are people who are taking this as guys talking to women purely for a hook-up. I'm sure that's true of many of them but I'm coming at this from a "how to meet women in general" perspective since I'm not into hookups personally
@tankcat25 Oh I definitely agree, it's just bizarre to see people online saying you shouldn't ask women out pretty much anywhere you might encounter them. I'm genuinely curious where those sorts of people think men and women should meet if those other places are "inappropriate"
Scary thing about Obsession for men:
"what if I was stalked and murdered by a psychopath"
Scary thing about Obsession for women:
"what if I had to be nice to a man I don't find attractive"
