The Flydubai co-pilot who tried to hijack a plane and crash it into Tel Aviv started going off the rails into radicalisation while he was in Melbourne on an international student visa.
UAE prosecutors say he got mixed up with people connected to an Australian Islamic centre called My Centre.
That same centre later got more than $68,000 of Australian taxpayers’ money from the Labor government.
In the Senate I asked a simple question: did anyone bother to check with ASIO or the Federal Police before handing over that cash?
Did the minister or his department even do a Google search or look at the Facebook pages of these organisations before giving them taxpayer money?
The minister wouldn’t give a straight answer.
One Nation did a simple google search and found dozens of extreme Islamic hatred posts from the organisation.
Australians deserve to know whether this government is doing even the most basic checks before it funnels hundreds of millions of dollars into multicultural groups and risks funding terrorism.
Obviously, this government doesn't care. They're more interested in bribing radical Islamists with taxpayer money.
Remembering the late, great Dolly, who brought joy, comfort and inspiration to so many - including the millions of children given free books through her Imagination Library. We will always ❤️ you.
@Paul_L_OBrien It is painful & brutal… I always reassured myself that I remembered exactly who she was…!
She was magnificent-the disease, monstrous!
