Oh yes. I always investigate an account before I follow and find a bunch that I end up muting because even though they are posting something I agree with, it’s a foreign account or their history or interactions are disturbing.

The only plus of these jackasses is that they out themselves almost always from their narcissistic behavior.

I’m not told not to post social media, although part of many folks employment agreements have mentions of representation of the company when posting on social media especially when it is upper level employment. The problem with that is that what is represented by the company is very subjective and also can change with who is viewing said content.

I may post something about my passion for my car and doing track days… maybe with a video of it. Seemingly an innocent thing to post online of a personal interest. The problem lies with whomever at whatever this time within leadership of the company may decide that my topic is in conflict of what they believe about car culture and decide to terminate employment. It doesn’t have to be anything contraversal at all. TN is a right to work state and there are no guarantees of employment.

Yes. You are 100% correct on that.
And I also respect your right to control who views your content. I think that part is solved by blocking said person.

While I back up my opinions, my employer may not agree with them. If I ran my company or were self employed it would be a different story.

Blocking and muting a user reduces their visibility, using that would accomplish what you are wanting done aside from penalizing others who want to protect their livelihoods from being harmed or destroyed.

Even when I express my opinion on topics or disagree with them, I am normally rational in my speech (mostly), and If I were forced to use my name, I would be less likely to express my opinions or disagree. The consequences of that is that most would do the same as me and we would then only have these big “shock” accounts out there conversing. Many of those accounts are paid for and are no more trustworthy than the msm.

I enjoy having conversations with others on here when they engage. It’s productive for all of us.

Same situation here. Sometimes your livelihood stifles your free speech. I myself mostly read/like, but occasionally reply or post. Don’t care about monetization and really here for the info, but I would hate being forced to be unheard. Just the opposite of the idea of free speech. At a public event, someone can speak and be heard without shouting their name.

I love how their use is downplayed to be just for license plate readers. They (and other systems like the Flock system) are so much more than that. The police and local municipalities only know what they are allowed to see so they defend them ignorantly.

As well as people talking about phoes and other various cameras ignorantly defending them.

The reality is that everyone is being investigated at all times by an AI agent/s. And the worst part is that we have no idea of what is being cataloged or by whom is doing it.

It’s a huge violation of our rights.

You have posted on this thread several times and each one includes some type of attack from you. That in itself removes any validity of your opinion.

What it shows is that you have the inability to rationalize or use critical thinking and deduction to comprehend.

I only say this because I want you (and all of us) to stop being inside of echo chambers.

And take the shackles off the citizens. They all have the right to protect themselves. The Police can’t protect everyone all of the time, and it’s unfair to that of them. I feel a lot of compassion for our LEOs as most of their called upon encounters are having to deal with garbage humans in some ridiculous situation born from the choice of that garbage human.

Self defense classes and weapons management classes would be significantly more effective than telling people to lay down and take it.

Cowards teaching to be cowards make a weak society.
