A diplomatic incident erupted ahead of the arrival of Russian President Vladimir Putin after envoys of the United Kingdom, France and Germany jointly authored an article for a daily newspaper on Monday (December 1, 2025) that blamed Russia for the war in Ukraine and accused Mr. Putin of “total disregard for human life”. Officials of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) described the article by the three envoys as “unacceptable and unusual”.
This is a Big W for Indian culture and India.
This is what it needs to do to improve its image globally.
What most Indians do not understand is that Westerners prioritize aesthetics, looks, and presentation over intellect.
No one cares about your degree and success when you are an overweight Unc who dresses like crap. If anything, it pisses people off more than anything.
The reason Indians are losing hard on the image game is because we aren't prioritizing showing the aesthetic parts of our culture enough but instead, we are bragging about grades and career success.
In order for India to improve its image, it must bring attention to its aesthetics and work overtime to show that on social media.
As if westerners doesn’t have a caste system
- Anglo Saxons (top)
- Nordics and French (middle)
- Italians/Irish (lower middle)
- Slavs (bottom)
The catholic church has its own caste system which is more nefarious.
Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, on American power and “real politics” 🇺🇸
“I was in a country… I don’t want to mention the name of it… and they were complaining about America. They said, ‘We were so concerned about America, we’ve taken our gold out of America. We put it in our vaults here.’
I looked at him and said, ‘You do realize your vaults here could be taken by three armies? You aren’t that far away.’
That’s real politics, folks. That’s the world.
When we talk about foreign economic relations and real politics. It’s the only way to do it. Anything short of that, you’re making a mistake.”
New: “A multi-millennia civilisation regaining its place on the global stage is an unusual occurrence. India’s rise will be a subject of discussion and possibly even misreading. Comparing us with the record of others is simplistic to say the least,” says S Jaishankar
New: “Those who are witnessing an erosion of their primacy no longer believe in the rules that they themselves set,” says S Jaishankar in a likely reference to America
Our ties with India go back nearly 5000 years. There was trade and cultural exchange with the Indus Valley Civilisation. And India continues to be one of our top trading partners, says Bahrain Foreign Minister
