When we were running de Koricancha project back in 2000 we found the basis of the temple of the sun. The old Inticancha. It would have been nice to have been able to study geo-polymers in more depth.

The entire #Qorikancha temple has thousands of precision blocks, however this particular section features the only protrusions in a high concentration🧐

This isolated distribution pattern of the blocks with protrusions suggests a batch mix, in my opinion #geopolymer

Here is another recent SEM and EDS analysis i have performed on a material sample from the #megaliths of the #Cusco area in #Peru

Note the molecular morphology in picture 3 of Al-O-Si

This sample can be characterized as an alumoxysialate #geopolymer
