@WR4NYGov I also do not get why people are so for the merger. as individual companies they are worth way more. if they merge shareholders of both companies will take a 20 -25% discount to what they would have traded as seperate entities

@spiralcal Actually its the opposite he needs a lower TSLA share price + pumping SpaceX valuation. He owns ~42% of SpaceX but only ~13-25% of Tesla. Lower TSLA market cap boosts his blended ownership % in the combined entity. In elons ideal world tesla share price collapses pre merger
