Interesting poll result, indicating a half of schools enforce a shirt and tie for men.
90% of those schools enforcing a shirt and tie for men are Secondary schools.

@miss_mcinerney I got my student loan contributions paid off every year as long as I remained a teacher. After 10 years they were all done. 18 years later and I’m still teaching.
Many wise people think we should scrap GCSEs, very few other countries put this kind of pressure on 15/16 year olds. In the end it’s far more about your A-levels, and even then it’s not the end of the world if they go wrong. Never, never let exam pressure damage your child.
