Well, turns out I get a free sleepover in Newcastle and will make my way tomorrow morning. To whoever stole the signal cables… you have caused quite the faff
On my way to Edinburgh for the @asab_conference, poster in tow. Job interview, cancelled trains and now big big train delay, I’m tired but jazzed. Fingers crossed I make it eventually! #asab22

The vote in favour of Proposal 37 has been swiftly followed by a consensus decision in favour of Proposal 38 - so that's a recommendation to put Hammerhead #sharks on #CITES Appendix II in addition to all Requiem sharks #CITESCoP19#ForNature
The webinar series presenting these case studies has been so interesting, I highly recommend them! Social sciences are the key for biodiversity conservation and I’ve already used a lot of insightful info in my work since

Quick check in: I’ve moved back to Europe to be closer to family, and I am now in the full swing of finding work, which is always a challenge. I’m open to work in France/Europe, with interests in migratory species, GIS & marine policy. Any leads appreciated!
So excited to have been awarded a grant to attend ASAB Winter @asab_conference in Edinburgh. Can’t wait to meet fellow colleagues now that I’m back in Europe! Now to work on my poster…
Just finished my talk and the live Q&A at @io_congress#IOCongress2022 ! Thanks to the participants for attending and all my fellow panelists for such an interesting discussion on the importance of the full annual cycle for migratory bird conservation.
Last year we put geolocators on White-shouldered Starlings to discover more about their movements.
This year we need to catch the birds to get data... two trapping sessions and three loggers recovered so far.
Hopefully more to come soon...
