For the last time tonight - in California, “attorney” and “lawyer” are indistinguishable. If anything, lawyer is the more regulated term (it’s the term the California rules repeatedly use). The idea that there is a distinction is fictional. Any legal “team” who told her this should be sued for malpractice.

I want to reiterate - in California - saying that calling yourself a lawyer is OK because someone told you that is not a thing. The Bar Rules are clearer on “lawyer” being off limits than they are on “attorney”

It does but that's not the point MY was making. He was making the point that Lucas WANTED to & SF being hostile to either wealth or building stuff or whatever got in the way. My point was = this is not a good example of that because the Presidio is not SF. Especially since the Presidio had just let Lucas build a TON (ie Lucasfilm HQ).
