During a recent visit to Scranton Army Ammunition Plant and General Dynamics-OTS Wilkes Barre, the Army's two leading metal parts manufacturers, I was impressed by the dedicated workforce and unique forging capabilities to meet JPEO A&A’s requirements for forged metal parts.
Each year on the last Sunday in September, our nation remembers and honors the surviving families of fallen patriots. We pay respect to Gold Star mothers and families for the selfless sacrifices their service member made. Gold Star mothers and families will not be forgotten.

From 15 September to 15 October, the U.S. Army celebrates the tremendous contributions of Hispanic Americans in building our great nation. This observance also gives us the opportunity to appreciate each of our Hispanic American Soldiers, Army Civilians and family members.
Thank you to all who made the recent blood drive a great success! The event at The Club at Picatinny had 77 donors and multiple volunteers lending a helping hand. Picatinny's next blood drive will be in early November. Details will be announced closer to the date.

History has been made at #PicatinnyArsenal with the ground breaking of the EOD Munitions Disassembly Complex. This facility will increase the EOD knowledge and capabilities for not only Picatinny, but also our surrounding communities.
