@RetroCardSnaps@pax_wax I was thinking it was maybe faded or just some color issue that wasn't known about much. It seemed it was worth a chance for $15 on ebay anyway.
@darrenrovell ... the irony that after the breakup, the Bulls couldn't sign a top free agent for nearly a decade. The Bulls were blackballed by top free agents after the way Phil Jackson was treated imo.
@pax_wax@RetroCardSnaps Have you seen any of those with a white border? I picked up the one in this picture a while back but haven't seen other white border ones.
@RetroCardSnaps@pax_wax I have this one I picked up for cheap. It is put away and I'd have to dig it out but I think mine had the white border, not yellow, like in the picture. I haven't seen others.
@BBGreatMoments BJ Surhoff gets lost in the mix quite a bit. But he had an MLB career total of ~2,300 hits in ~2,300 games and 400+ doubles. ~700 games at catcher, most of those age 27 and younger.
@VandyonTigers The sabermetric crowd that does not allow their own members to think for themselves. It's actually indoctrination and they react like a religious experience.
@BigMikeAllDay@CardPurchaser If it could come back as a PSA 1 instead of a PSA 1 (MC) it could have more value. Also it would be great if they would put the Willie Mays info on the sticker. But coming back a PSA 1 (MC) without the Mays info would cause it to be a reach imo.
