@ilovecheetos3@GuardiolaTweets You’d have to be pretty dumb to not understand that FIFA has a problem with VAR. if it was the other way around, I don’t think you’d be so complementary of the enforcement of the rules, Artemis…
@steve_thobile@theberneese@FIFAcom I love watching Messi. You’re portraying your (fandom?) energy in the wrong place. Unfortunately, the controversy in these last 2 games will stain Messi’s legacy
@steve_thobile@theberneese Ok, Steve. Sadly, @FIFAcom is ruining Messi’s legacy with the officiating these last 2 games… this Argentinian team is subpar, but FIFA is forcing this largest asset, Messi, through to the semis. It’s sad on all accounts
@_cnshd_@theberneese I watched the game. Both of your pictures are of Messi. Respectfully, I don’t think your take is exactly unbiased…. You’re enjoying the results of a game tilted towards you. I don’t blame ya, I’d do the same if I were in your boots
The US market is the biggest market potential in the world. That’s partly why @FIFAcom let them host again so soon. #americans can’t stand the inconsistent refereeing and they find it impossible to watch because of it #sad
@edgewalker81 That’s what the telecast would have you believe. But that’s wrong. VAR can rescind a yellow card without giving another player a yellow. I don’t understand why the commentators don’t know this rule but I do as someone who watches every 4 years
@mmahdab@WorldCup26HQ As the father of a 7 year old, I see fifa doing this. The kids love Messi.FIFA is capitalizing on this. He’s their goat and they’re exploiting it. Unfortunately, they’re doing so at the expense of the integrity of their sport. FIFA is a business at the beg, mid, & end of the day.
