@pmdfoster @asda @ColdChainShane Not an empty shelf in site in Italy. Here's a very interesting poll in Guardian from 2 weeks ago, appears to be a UK phenomenon. https://t.co/jS9k9qivIl

I hope every country not doing this follows suit. Plastic packaging on fruit and veg is completely unnecessary. 🤞🤞 #banplasticpackaging https://t.co/xcL2fMBUAM

[maura balbo @maurabalbo]

We are vintners, so we produce wines. Wines must be sold. People drink our wines. They can like or dislike them. Judgments are always personal opinions, not absolute truths. Do the winelovers exactly know how many sacrifices stand behind and inside a glass of wine? I think no.

@WalterSpeller Yes, very strict here with mask wearing and showing of CoVid pass everywhere you go. From next week you have to show CoVid pass to use public transport and any indoor public place including caffe, bar, restaurant, museums etc.

@TheWatchfulCook @GSWooster Agree with Jan, Torino a very unrated city. Very historical & great food and wine. Also Trieste is another wonderful city to visit, combined with Venice if you have not been.

@Geturgrapeon Sitting on a beach appropriately in Liguria. Just finished your book found it moving, funny, inspirational and I couldn't put it down. A must read for anyone in wine. You deserve your success & wish you and your family every happiness for the future.

Help - landlord potentially selling our shop-we could buy it for £35K-I panicked until I thought-is 1000 people investing £35 to have their name written on the outside of the building and receive a free pre-loved book every month for a year silly? #booktwitter #kindnesstrain

@thriftygreen @lovely_plot Just because they are short, fat & green......I've met some decent leprechauns over the years this is Patsy, he's great craic and not the least bit crusty 🤣

[Piemonte Deli 🇮🇹 @PiemonteDeli]

@lovely_plot @thriftygreen As an Irishman that's a bit harsh on Leprechauns......they are not all old & crusty! 🤣🤣

[Piemonte Deli 🇮🇹 @PiemonteDeli]

@thriftygreen Hi Nikki, here are a couple of good book suggestions, although the last one is very old handed down from the Grandparents, possible not available 😁. We use them regularly for tinctures, tonics and teas. Some are tasty 😋, others not so. Enjoy

We're open from 4 pm for indoor and outdoor drinks, plus our large selection of wine and beer off sales. No kitchen but you can grab a pizza from @gg_pizza and have it with us

@JeremyPalmer7 @PiemonteDreams Lovely article and correct Persimmon trees are everywhere in Italy. This is ours in the garden and they are like baubles in the snow. Lovely fruit and lots of health benefits.

[Piemonte Deli 🇮🇹 @PiemonteDeli]

That’s the baubles on the Christmas tree 🎄 done 😅. Cachi trees are so magical in the snow ❄️. Harvested next week so nice to get a photo with the snow.

Does everyone know what the options game is re blind #wine tasting? Or is it common only in a small sector of Australian wine-drinking society? (Asking for a friend updating a book....)

[Piemonte Deli 🇮🇹 @PiemonteDeli]

@thriftygreen @punsandrosie @lovely_plot Chard now/September a good time to plant. Great winter veg. Planted last year got snowed in and charded in........just never stopped growing and lasted up until May
