Elon Musk reveals why, measured against the sun's energy, human civilization barely registers as existing at all:
"Right now we're very low on the Kardashev one scale. If you say what proportion of our planet's power are we harnessing, it's a very, very tiny number. And we're harnessing almost nothing of our star's power. The sun is truly an immense thing. It's difficult with words to characterize just how immense the sun is"
"The sun is about 99.86% of all mass in the solar system. Most of the remaining 0.14% is Jupiter. The entire mass of Earth is in the tiny miscellaneous category. Earth is a tiny dust mote compared to the sun"
"We currently use much less than a trillionth of the power output of the sun, and a trillion is a million times a million. So basically we're practically nowhere on the Kardashev two scale. On the Kardashev scale, we're still non-existent. We're not registering"
China has not fought a war in decades. To conquer Taiwan, it needs the latest battlefield lessons and data to compensate for its lack of combat experience. That is where Russia comes in https://t.co/9yb5MdFjuB
“The uncomfortable truth is that Europe must accept greater risk in the short term to avoid far more serious dangers in the future,” says Radek Sikorski, Poland’s foreign minister, in a guest essay. “Our objective cannot be merely to avoid escalation” https://t.co/O9WP0Mtb8X
🇷🇺 A losing Russia may be more dangerous to NATO than a winning one...
Finland's president Alexander Stubb told BILD that Russian troops are tied down in Ukraine with a manpower deficit, and that he does not see Moscow mobilizing for a second front.
He also warned against expecting economics to end the war, saying never underestimate Russians' capacity to endure hard times, and pointing back to the Soviet period.
Both halves of that describe a country that cannot win conventionally and will not break financially.
Ratcliffe flew to Moscow on Tuesday and told FSB chief Alexander Bortnikov exactly that, giving what the New York Times calls a bleak assessment and urging a deal before Russia's position worsens.
CNN reports four sources describing the concern behind the trip: a weakened Russia turning to limited military action against NATO to raise the cost of supporting Ukraine, the escalate-to-deescalate logic OSINTdefender also flags in its read of the visit.
Here is the part that binds this to the Gulf. The Washington Post reports a classified assessment concluding the Kremlin now sees America as weakened by six months of war with Iran.
American PAC-3 and ATACMS stocks in Europe are rated beyond critical after roughly 1,700 Patriot interceptors were spent, with refills possibly taking years.
Berlin is preparing to formally blame Russia for the Leipzig drone.
Stubb is right about the soldiers... nothing being contemplated requires them.

🇺🇸🇷🇺BUCKLE UP: CIA Director’s secret Moscow dash: No peace talks -signs of major escalation?
CIA Director John Ratcliffe has made an unexpected, completely unannounced visit to Moscow. This wasn’t planned and almost certainly isn’t about peace negotiations. It points instead to sensitive intelligence or urgent back-channel talks.
The most likely reason: the CIA has picked up information about a potential escalation, possibly involving mobilization plans with Russia, Iran, and China.
These kinds of sudden trips are rarely good news - and strongly suggest the U.S. administration has received troubling signals of something bigger brewing.
🇺🇸 Barron Trump is reportedly the target of an alleged Iranian threat.
The Secret Service says it's aware of a video circulating online and is taking it seriously as it looks into the situation.
Things are starting to take a dark turn.

The Iran war has shown that, in practice, China can singlehandedly stabilise the global oil market over a period of many months. The leaders of OPEC can only dream of doing the same https://t.co/wBoo9VYCeP
🇷🇺🇺🇸 The US has reportedly taken Ukraine's NATO membership off the table after meeting in Moscow with CIA head, John Ratcliffe.
From understanding of sources, the US is trying to establish better "safer" relations with Moscow, and to curb the increase in energy prices after the Iran conflict.
Washington made several offers but it's unclear who they met with, there's no confirmation of talks with President Putin. The Russian Federation will not cease the SMO, until every agenda is achieved.
On the other notes of dumb internet speculations, no one, not even the US President will step on Russian soil to "warn" President Putin.
Over the years, they have arrived to dissuade Kremlin officials from possible further planned actions. What are today's possibilities: Decapitation strike on Kiev, secret attacks on facilities in Europe or further helping Iran.
As I stated above, there is no definite answer, no agreements signed, but be wise and intelligent when coming across fake news.
