Absolute idiocy, moronic urban planning, so frustrating yet so predictable. Car parking at train stations is a terrible use of land and should never be built.

Even a huge car park can only fill a fraction of 1 train. The basic maths doesn't stack up.

Thank goodness they reopened Flinders St to traffic after it was closed due to metro tunnel works for 7 years.

Where would all these cars have gone otherwise?

Maybe now we can remove the Elizabeth St crossing so there's even less yucky pedestrians getting in the way!?

Santiago metro, Medellin's rapid improvements, BRT in Bogota, etc..

but 4 PT study trips is OTT, plenty of other places to learn from.. Singapore, any Chinese city, Europe & its tram renaissance..
