Next up @hotchickendaves, saw this place on line. There’s one on NJ. They’re like #ChickfilA but with a little more going on. Their sandwiches have slaw and sauce w/pickles too. You can choose different degrees of hot seasonings. Mac and cheese not great. #chicken #friedchicken

Recently went to @RedWhiteQue smokehouse in Greenbrook NJ. Easily the best smoked brisket and pastrami I’ve ever had. Super friendly staff and awesome food. Get there early because they WILL sell out! So glad they moved from Kearny. Our gain! #BBQ #redwhiteque #njbbq

@WhiteCastle , I never knew it but they’ve had breakfast for quite some time. Saw it on tv and just tried it. Their #belgianwaffleslidder. Fresh cracked egg and the waffle has a nice amount of sweetness. With different choices of meat. A good rival to the #mcgriddle. Get two!

Recently went to @FamousDavesWPG. Sadly they’ve declined. I didn’t get a chance to talk to the mgr but it seems they’re changing the basics that made them ‘famous’. The brisket had no bark the ribs had little to no smoke. #bbq #famousdaves

Dinner @eatdiesel. A very small storefront but a very good burger. Not a very thick patty so get the double. Served on a potato roll, it was very fresh and flavorful. Had the bbq fries too. A sloppy delicious mess I’d get again.Very tasty! #diesel&duke #njfood #njburger #burgers

A great new burger you have to try is @Wendys. It’s the new #baconchedderburger! Easily one of the best big chain burgers I’ve eaten. Fried onion bits,bacon, bacon sauce,grated cheddar cheese on a cheddar bun. Sooo good. #wendys #burgers now if only they would get a good dessert

Tried a new place @TommysTavern. The menu was very diverse with many different options. We had the ribs and mac and cheese with pulled pork. The ribs were tender, not smoked but boiled then grilled. The pulled pork was good. The only knock,very noisy inside.Try it. #tommystavern

Recently visited #minutemanbbq in Morristown NJ. Let me tell you, the pulled pork isn’t the only butt that got shredded that day, $$$$. Nothing comes w/. Ribs were tender,not much flavor. Underwhelmed and over priced. For two, just soda, 2 apps, ribs w/tip…$93! #BBQ #njbbq

I don’t know how I missed this but #kfc has apple pies that are deep fried! Just like the good old days when #Royrogers and #McDonalds did. They don’t have much cinnamon but they are crispy. Plus, they’re only $1 for two! Pair with vanilla ice cream! 🤤

Had the ‘new’ chicken sandwich from #KFC. It was very very good. Great flavor on the breading and a very juicy fillet. All in all, right up there with @ChickfilA. In some ways better! I didn’t try the spicy sandwich yet. Soon! I’m really liking these chicken wars! #chickfilA
