Located just north of Toronto, Pilates North programming offers an innovative approach to core conditioning and functional training. All bodies are welcome!
@ColinDMello Breaking lol. Let the news slip at 1:03pm the exact same time as all eyes are focused on “vaccination policy” briefing. Cute but we see what’s going on here. @CFIB Not one word of it in today’s briefing. Is this an “official announcement”?
#shameful
@CFIB Not just HIGH intensity. Low impact studios with small class sizes also closed for 17mths. Let’s not forget: NO rent relief was provided for the 1st 7 mths (nearly half of the closure). Gyms have been open lesss than a mth at 50% cap & subsidies have ended. #Fordfkdfitness
@bobmckayguelph@CFIB@fordnation@brianlilley Your ten ppl mean 25% less of Rent support.
Imagine if schools were told they could only accept 10 students per hr. Then imagine 98% of teachers out of work not qualifying for financial assistance because the schools are "open".
Gyms & Resturants are living this reality.
@love2live2021 @CFIB@rpoconnor It is worth it to government as it saves them from (once again) having to pay CERS top up of 25% to small businesses. Telling small business to open at 10% capacity while telling the public not to go out of their homes adds insult to injury. Either it is safe or it is not.
@680NEWS Not surprising. Dr Williams told us on Monday that the numbers would go down next week. Did anyone notice that slip of tongue? Magically the numbers fit the plan. #cantbetrusted
@CFIB@CFIB Watch https://t.co/2dmJiuv1L4 48:40 - 51:10 Nothing to "believe" here. He specifically talks about new grant. Ford says: "I've asked for numbers to see how many people have taken us up on the grant....." The number is 0.
No reaction @CFIB ? Ford blames small businesses for not applying for grants that are UNAVAILABLE. "COMING SOON". This is what you fought for, support for Small Business, but no outcry? As the "voice" of Small Business please demand a retraction/correction from Ford.
@CP24@CFIB Did you guys catch Ford scolding small businesses for not using the new Grant??? Visit the website. https://t.co/Lg2J6NTgba Last updated December 23rd. "Coming soon...". Maybe @RodPhillips01 forgot to start this program before he went on vacation. #unreal
@CFIB Timed perfectly so that any business being locked down will not qualify for the rent top up in Period 10. The threshold is at least one week shut down. Dec 14-20th is just under it. Same thing happened Period 8. hmmmmm? I don’t believe in coincidences. Do you?
@CelinaBlanchard@cfibNational@CFIB I hear you. It would be more useful to businesses if government was honest about the support for SB.
Hope all those who applied for Wage Subsidy Period 8 before November 23 realize they now qualify for more.
Go back and check!!!
Wonder why this wasn’t a major news release?
@CelinaBlanchard@cfibNational@CFIB You got it! If your restaurant used to fit 100 people and you are in control zone you can only have 10.....you are making 90% less revenue but will not be eligible for the 25% top up. (which is only applied to 90% of rent). Big savings for government. It’s salt in the wound.
@CFIB@CelinaBlanchard@cfibNational Glad to hear. Also, it was quite misleading for Government to continually say the program was retro to September as the period is actually Sept 27-Oct 24. which covers 28 days of October rent. Please push for CERS to be retro to April 1!
@cfibNational@CFIB To qualify for 65% of 90% of rent you have to show a 70% loss. The information is online cra. simply open their calculator and see for yourself. :)
@JoshDehaas@CFIB Retail is not required to take the name and numbers of all visitors. So it is impossible to contact trace “outbreaks” in these spaces. The reports are meaningless without including this information. Or should we just assume the 35 percent of unknown sources are retail?
