Tiger captured was found okay. Tests of CDV and rabies were found negative. Team Pilibhit released the tiger back in the wild after radio collaring the animal. Kudos to all involved.
The TIGER on the WALL, which went viral recently, has been radio-collared and released back into the wilderness successfully, by the coordinated efforts of all concerned. It is a challenge into opportunity for Pilibhit TR, as it marks the beginning of the first-ever satellite radio collaring of tiger in Pilibhit Tiger Reserve @PilibhitR with technical support of @wii_india and by close monitoring and facilitation of @ntca_india.

#UttarPradesh: The tigress 🐆 that was captured in Atkona village was successfully released back into the wild (core zone of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve) with a radio collar for monitoring, following a thorough health examination.
Divisional Forest Officer Naveen Khandelwal informed that the investigation confirmed the tigress's excellent health, and the release was carried out under the directives of the National Tiger Conservation Authority.
