@EU_Commission I assume this is a temporary solution until manual driving on motorways is banned? If you want safer roads, don’t check on the driver, eliminate the weak link and let the car drive. Tesla FSD is nearly ready for fully autonomous driving.

@visegrad24 With manual or supervised driving it makes sense, I can already see this as an obstacle for unsupervised FSD, when in a few years the car is capable of fully self driving, but law dictates a camera to monitor the “driver”. Again the law is years behind technology.

@NotAnFSDTracker Not so rare in the Netherlands, I drive about two hours a day and have not yet had a single drive without intervention. Common are phantom speed changes, missing a car on a roundabout, steering wheel wiggle, braking for a green traffic light, and many false attention messages.
