Their efforts resulted in the defendant being convicted of 12 child sexual offenses committed over several years against his two minor stepdaughters. On March 30, he was sentenced to life in prison.
“After decades of waiting for justice, victims can now receive some degree of relief in knowing that he will never be able to walk the streets again and abuse another child,” said Pima County Attorney Laura Conover.
