Happy 1st Birthday to us, ROmings. 🥳

Can you believe it has already been a year? One year ago today, we were officially gifted our fandom name. This date is so dear to our Boy’s heart that he even hand-wrote “ROming Day” on the February 4th square of his 2026/27 Season’s Greetings calendars, permanently marking this day as ours.🥹

Looking back, the timeline of becoming ‘ROming’ is filled with unforgettable memories. It began on Jan 28, 2025, when our Boy first addressed us as “로밍이들” (ROmingi-deul) in writing on the Fan Cafe. Then came the official definition on Feb 4: “To be connected to the journey Rowoon is creating and to walk this path together.” Finally, on Apr 14, the ‘Before Blooming’ teaser dropped, and we heard him shout “로밍이들!” with his own voice for the 1st time! Each of these milestones made our fandom name truly feel real.

Watching the 'Before Blooming' BEHIND video again, I am reminded of how much this connection means to our Boy. He asked: "This is our first fan meeting since the name 'ROming' was officially decided... Instead of your name, do you think you can say, 'Hello, I’m a ROming'? The name 'ROming' carries the meaning that we are 'connected,' that we 'move forward together.' That is why I asked a favor of you all." And when we got quiet, he playfully scolded us: "You shouldn’t be lacking confidence like this! …If this doesn't go well, I’m cutting it immediately and we’re going again. Because this is going to be left as a video. You guys really have to do a good job, okay? Music, please!"

I was so incredibly happy to be in the audience that day—performing the promised duet with our Boy in person.🥰 As we sang our parts for “Meaning of You”, the lyrics felt like a mutual confession: 🎶 "A word from you, a smile from you... Even those things have a great meaning to me." And then, just like the original song, you ended the performance by asking: "Who on earth... are you to me?"

Seok Woo ya, the answer was in our voices that day. We’ll walk every step of this journey with you. We are here, waiting faithfully and wearing the name you gave us with pride.❤️

With the Korea Army Training Center releasing the official 2026 Supply List a few days ago, we finally have a visual guide to the gear keeping our Private First Class (PFC) Kim Seok Woo warm this winter.🫡

By cross-referencing the official charts with his recent photos (and looking back at his completion ceremony), here is the confirmed “Winter Kit” we have seen PFC Kim Seok Woo wearing so far:
• 귀덮개 (Earmuffs)
• 베레모 (Beret)
• 방한양말 (Winter Thermal Socks) – A must-have with his boots!
• 넥워머 (Neck Warmer)
• 패딩점퍼 (Padding Jumper / Winter Puffer Jacket)
• 사계전투복 (Four-Season Combat Uniform)
• 육면전투화 (Roughout Combat Boots)
• 전투모 (Combat Cap / Patrol Cap)

(I’ve also included the Spring/Autumn and Summer supply charts in this post for your reference. ☀️🍂 While these are the standard issue lists for new recruits, the charts confirm that every soldier receives a full year’s wardrobe—including Winter gear for Summer recruits and vice versa. So, it is safe to assume our Boy is already well-stocked with these same essential items, ready for the seasons ahead!)

Of course, the above are just the items visible to the bare eye—we can assume he is layered up with the standard winter innerwear underneath too!🤭

However, keen-eyed ROmings might spot one interesting detail that sets our Boy’s gear apart: his gloves.🧤 Instead of the standard-issue wool gloves, he was wearing 3M Super Grip Winter (Hot) safety gloves in the recent photo we all saw. The distinct light blue wristband even tells us they are Size L. 🤭 For an 일병 (Ilbyeong aka Private First Class) serving in the Support & Supply Branch (지원보급) at the Army Cadet Military School, seeing this practical gear being used by his team speaks volumes about the nature of their duties. Whether managing inventory data or the hands-on logistics of supporting the school’s training operations, these gloves offer the superior grip and durability needed for the job. It’s great to see our Boy looking so settled in, fully equipped and ready for the hard work alongside his team. 💪🏻

The lengths we go for Kim Seok Woo!😄❄️📸

Today’s location scouting took us to a quiet, unassuming backstreet in Gangnam—the exact spot where Rowoon shot his stunning Marie Claire magazine pictorial back in October 2025! ✨

While his photos oozed that moody, late-night city vibe, our reality was a little different. 😅 Since we didn’t have a professional lighting crew to recreate his cinematic night shots, we opted for natural sunlight instead! ☀️

But let me tell you... the weather was no joke. It was a freezing -12°C with wind that cut right through our coats! 🥶💨 But did we stop? Absolutely not. 🙅🏻‍♀️ We stood right where he stood, posed (shivering!) where he posed, and successfully captured the moment. Anything for our Boy, right? 🥰 Even in the freezing cold, tracing his footsteps warms my heart. Mission accomplished! ✌🏻

Thanks to my fellow ROming chingus who braved the cold together with me that day! Couldn’t have done it without you gals ❤️

[Dining in His Footsteps: The VIP Edition] ✨

Last time I was here at this same legendary K-BBQ spot, I did the standard visit—ground floor dining, wall of fame, spotting our Boy’s autograph. But this trip called for an upgrade. 🆙🤗 We had a bigger mission.😎

We booked the private VIP room on the 5th floor! This isn’t just any room. It’s exactly where Seok Woo sat for one of his interviews right before enlistment! 😍 The privacy and space up there offer a totally different vibe from the bustling hall below.😊

Of course, the golden rule of fandom dining applies: 먼저 예절샷! (Let the camera eat first!) 📸👆🏻 Before even touching the grill, we had a blast taking over the room—posing in our Boy’s seat, setting up our photocards and mini dolls, and capturing every angle of the “Rowoon Spot”! 😁 And naturally, we had to order our Boy’s absolute favorite: Hanwoo 안창살 (Beef Thin Skirt).😋 If you remember his non-stop chants for “안창살 Anchangsal” in <House on Wheels 4>, you know how serious he is about this cut! 🥩🐮 He wasn’t wrong—the flavor is unmatched. The meat melted in our mouths! 🤤

Great fun, amazing food, good company, and the perfect Rowoon spot! 💯 Highly recommend this for any ROming looking to treat themselves! 😊

2026.01.30: D-451 🪖💪🏻🫡

[The Cafe Where Stars Collide] ✨☕️

Today’s stop brings us to Cafe Radio M, the very spot where Rowoon and the cast of <The Murky Stream> spent a full day back in October doing relay interviews just before the drama finale. Of course, as a dedicated ROming, I had to visit!✌🏻

But...we had a little unexpected plot twist.😅 When we arrived around 4pm-ish, the cafe was closed off for a private event!🫠 Disappointed but determined, we decided to wait at a cafe opposite until they reopened at 6:30pm.😌 And guess what? That “private event” turned out to be a marathon interview session for the current hit drama <Can This Love Be Translated>! 😱 While we didn’t see our Seok Woo, we got a huge surprise bonus: seeing actor Kim Seon Ho up close as he left the cafe after his interviews! (Video shown here was taken by my ROming friend! 👀🎥).

When we finally got inside, I immediately pulled out my mini Jang Si Yul doll that I deliberately brought along. 🤗 Since Seok Woo was there specifically for <The Murky Stream> interview, it only felt right to bring “Little Si Yul” back to the scene!👌🏻

But the real highlight was on the 2nd floor. We found the famous “Moving Blackboard” that served as the backdrop for Rowoon & Park Seo Ham’s photos—and I was amazed that it was untouched! 😲 The doodles were exactly the same as in October: the chair & flower drawings, the “Croissant” & “Macaron” writings... everything was still there. Standing in front of that same doodle-filled board to snap our photos felt surreal! 📸

Then, the friendly 사장님 (owner) spilled some tea 🍵: Apparently, this place is a hot spot! He told us actor Hyun Bin was just there last week for <Made In Korea> interviews, and actress Go Youn Jung was scheduled to come the very next day! 🤯 The boss even mentioned plans to expand Radio M globally—ambitious!👏🏻

So, if you are in Seoul, definitely add Radio M to your list. It’s not just a “Rowoon Spot”—it’s a celebrity magnet! You never know who you might bump into. 😉
