@havivrettiggur It’s wise to remember that Trump only takes credit and never responsibility. It’s also extremely apparent that Trump only cares about Trump.
@Rationalmod@BriannaWu Maybe. I should stay upfront that I despise him and would never vote for him, but I suspect that there were things going on behind the scenes that we didn’t know about regarding the hostages.
StandWithUs Northwest:
"Urge @GovBobFerguson to remove Washington State Human Rights Commissioner Luc Jasmin following antisemitic remarks made during an official Human Rights Commission meeting. Commissioner Jasmin mocked concerns about antisemitism and invoked harmful stereotypes while serving on the state's civil rights enforcement body. Although he has since apologized, Commissioner Jasmin remains entirely unfit for office. He has since admitted that he has not paid attention to rising antisemitism in the state and could not confirm whether Hamas is a terrorist organization."
@fred_guttenberg I voted for Harris. Trump is the worst thing that’s ever happened to the United States, and he’s damaged every ally as well. He is greed personified in an ill fitting suit, he has betrayed everyone who’s ever been close to him.
I suppose it’s interesting to watch people suddenly wake up to the fact that Trump is exactly who he appears to be, a greedy, narcissistic coward who has betrayed everyone who’s ever come into contact with him, but I will never understand why they trusted him.
It’s crazy to me that Jewish Republicans and other Republicans are surprised. They really thought that Trump is a master statesman or that the people around him are. We are now in the worst position in every way. This was entirely predictable.
Just want to thank all the international World Cup fans for coming and lifting all of us Americans up with your absolutely charming encounters with our big weird country. We needed it. Best 250th birthday gift ever.
A terrorist drove a car bomb into a synagogue preschool in El-Sayed's state. El-Sayed blamed Israel, calling it 'displaced rage.'
Do any of El-Sayed's defenders believe he'd offer the same excuse if a Jew tried to murder Arab American children over that conflict?
@gabedrawsX@jstreetdotorg@NYTmag As far as I can tell, they exist to bash Israel and raise money from Jews who think antizionism isn’t simply Jew hatred
People have been slow to acknowledge this but there is a strain of the left that is basically no different than the incel/Men's Rights movement. And are just as vile and bigoted.
And every single one of them has made Graham Platner their entire existence for the past however months. Certainly not a coincidence.
When you see the shiny spot on top of the SS's caps, that is a Totenkopf. As I explain in the thread, below, the Totenkopf was the unifying symbol of the SS. The mass executioners. It's not a random Nazi symbol. It's a very specific Nazi symbol. Every rank of the SS wore it.
@JewishWonk I went with “Trump has a long history of betraying everyone he’s ever worked with or been close to”. Didn’t work, they had to see for themselves. Perhaps they finally are, this doesn’t make me happy. It’s been a huge mistake for Israel to put so much support behind Trump.
For all the people defending Platner on the grounds that one of his accusers is a conservative operative, what are we supposed to make of the fact that Jenny Racicot, a Maine Democrat, says on the record to the NYT, "This person does not respect women.”
