The Writers Guild of America has filed a lawsuit to block the Warner Bros. and Paramount merger.

“With fewer competitors, the merged Paramount-Warner Bros. entity would have both the incentive and the ability to lower costs by suppressing writers’ wages and reducing output.”

Meta is removing Instagram’s latest AI feature following a negative response from users:

“Earlier this week, we announced that one way for people to generate images in Meta AI is by @-mentioning public Instagram accounts that they want to reference. Our intent was to provide a useful creative tool and to give people control over whether their public content could be referenced in this way. We've heard the feedback that this feature missed the mark, so it's no longer available.”

melanie has been shown praying on her knees, having a premonition dream and now being visited by an owl. she is clearly spiritually attuned. owls symbolize trusting your inner voice, wisdom, intuition, death and rebirths. i need her to let disingenuous go expeditiously.

Hockey player Jesse Kortuem publicly comes out as gay, crediting ‘Heated Rivalry’ with helping him share his story:

“I know many closeted and gay men in the hockey world are being hit hard by Heated Rivalry's success. Never in my life did I think something so positive and loving could come from such a masculine sport. I've struggled the last few weeks to put these emotions into words, fearing the impact on team dynamics, etc. I loved the game, but I lived with a persistent fear. I wondered how I could be gay and still play such a tough and masculine sport […] I want to speak to the athletes out there who are still in the closet or struggling to find their way. I want you to know that there is hope and you’re not alone. There is a life and a deep happiness waiting for you on your path. You will get through this, and it is going to be okay.”

To call ‘AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH’ the exact same movie as before is an overexaggeration. At that point, you’re refusing to engage with the film’s story.

Bad Bunny (@sanbenito) stands up for Kim Petras (@kimpetras) in recent statement.

“She didn’t do anything but defend people who got the same background as her. Takes guts to speak up when the person pushing a narrative against you was once your idol. She also bad as hell.”

[je ne sais pas @bobameals]

reminder she was given the easiest out ever in that gq interview and purposely played dumb 😐
