@rjnyuuki an example of this would be Yuki doesn't get the block and Ran digs but then Yuki has to swing on the right side which is trationally where Yuji/Kento swing, he's more than capable but it's not his ideal side

@rjnyuuki switch block to have their Opp block the opponents Opp therefore their OH blocks the opponents OH it's a gamble because in some cases they don't set who you'd think and or they do but get around the block and you have to set the hitter on their weaker side

@bbubblex_ honestly I think Japan can beat either Italy or USA but I think USA would be preferred because it's obvious TJ and Hanes have been struggling so they would just have to contain/limit Matt/Merrick but Poland on the other hand I think is the favorite to win 😔

@CoffeewithEliB I can see this especially offensively because Ran Otsuka and Tomita are very similar while Kai's serve can be lethal and his height as a wing spiker gives him an upper hand on the others attacking and blocking wise 🙏

@talkthetrack exactly and not just italians, Gabi from Brazil and Matt from USA etc. have also expressed how much of an honor and privilege being apart of the national team is and they dedicate their life to it missing birthdays holidays wedding some of the Alas Men take this for granted😔

@lezzgoNationalU there's nothing wrong with taking a break from the national team but playing for locals tournaments and saying he giving a chance to others is very entitled, where is the commitment to the team and coaches decide the final rosters

@volleybagan also it should not be the players decision whether they want to compete in said tournament or not. all available members should be training and the head coach decides the final roster and the reserves.

@volleybagan took a break is such a weak excuse when you look at National Team members from USA Poland Brazil Italy who get maybe 1-2 weeks vacation between club and national team duties, this showcases the lack of commitment because he is still willing to play in local tournaments😑🙃

@almondmilkTH I hate seeing posts or comments like this because you cannot predict the outcome of playoffs there can be injuries or someone can have an off game, that does not take away all the wins and success that Japan and other final 8 have had this VNL season.
