the issue w my opinion on fanfics being published is i wouldn't read my fav fics being published as regular books. the whole point to me is that they're characters i know in a world i know lol
mind u she’s one of the LEADS in yellowjackets, an emmy-nominated show in which her performance as shauna shipman has been critically acclaimed for years… but sure, let’s recognize her for a show in which she had like 5 min of screentime as a side character with zero development
@GoreMagala I feel like themself is perfectly fine, but yes use they are. Themselves immediately implies it is more than one person, which completely defeats the purpose of using they/them pronouns for one person (unless you want to be referred to in multiples). But 'they is' is just stupid.
@chuffedtwobits these people either
1. are just jealous that it wasn't them. and if they ever did get singled out would immediately switch sides and think it's perfectly fine,
or 2. forget that cc's are regular people too, and are not celebrities with PR teams and media training
@tar_tine 1. A spy academy AU https://t.co/zZVT39VWGF
2. Fake dating/murder mystery https://t.co/0FogDvBrG5
3. Soulmate AU with a twist https://t.co/0KZBkgtRKn
Before pride month starts im just gonna say this:
-men’s mental health month is in November
-straight pride isn’t a thing. Nobody has ever been oppressed or killed for being straight
-veterans get 2 months. May and November
So do some research before complaining :)
@stormscraft ok but im imagining the fact that pearl (and by extension chat noir) would be the only one in the vicinity with an australian accent and somehow no one makes the connection that they're the same person which makes it ten times funnier
